Ammoniphilus is a Gram-variable, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped, haloalkalitolerant spore-forming, obligately oxalotrophic and motile bacterial genus from the family of Paenibacillaceae with peritrichous flagella. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] In the cell wall of Ammoniphilus is meso-diaminopimelic acid. [5]
Methylocella tundrae is a species of bacterium. It is notable for oxidising methane. Its cells are aerobic, Gram-negative, non-motile, dinitrogen-fixing rods. Strain T4T is the type strain.
Microlunatus antarcticus is an LL-diaminopimelic acid-containing actinomycete, the type species of its genus. It is gram-positive, aerobic and slowly growing. The type strain is AA-1042.
Erythrobacter ramosus is a species of bacterium.
Roseivivax halodurans is a species of bacteria, the type species of its genus. It is aerobic and bacteriochlorophyll-containing, first isolated from the charophytes on the stromatolites of a saline lake located on the west coast of Australia. It is chemoheterotrophic, Gram-negative, motile, rod-shaped and with subpolar flagella. Its type strain is OCh 239T.
Methylorubrum suomiense is a facultatively methylotrophic and aerobic bacteria from the genus Methylorubrum which has been isolated from forest soil in Finland.
Albibacter methylovorans is a methylotrophic, aerobic and facultatively autotrophic bacteria from the genus Microvirga which has been isolated from dichloromethane contaminated ground water in Switzerland.
Methylopila capsulata is a Gram-negative, aerobic, facultatively methylotrophic, non-spore-forming and motile bacterium species from the genus Methylopila which has been isolated from soil from Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
Ammoniphilus oxalivorans is a Gram-variable, spore-forming, haloalkalitolerant, rod-shaped, aerobic, obligately oxalotrophic and motile bacteria from the genus of Ammoniphilus with peritrichous flagella which has been isolated from the rhizosphere of the plant Rumex acetosa from a public garden in Helsinki in Finland.
Lentzea is a Gram-positive, mesophilic and aerobic genus from the family of Pseudonocardiaceae.
Acutalibacter is a Gram-positive, strictly anaerobic, chemoorganotrophic, mesophilic and acidogenic genus of bacteria from the family of Oscillospiraceae.
Subtercola is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, aerobic and non-motile genus of bacteria from the family of Microbacteriaceae.
Terrabacter is a genus of Gram positive, strictly aerobic, non-sporeforming bacteria. The genus name is derived from Latin terra (earth), referring to the type species' original isolation from soil. The genus was first proposed in 1989; however, the type species Terrabacter tumescens was originally described in 1934, and had previously been classified in the genera Corynebacterium, Arthrobacter, and Pimelobacter. Terrabacter species have been isolated from soil, air and stone.
