Bower is a town in South Australia, approximately halfway between Eudunda and Morgan [1] on the Thiele Highway.
The area was originally the territory of the Ngadjuri people. [2] The name Bower honours David Bower, a South Australian Member of Parliament (1865 – 1887) who donated land in the state for institutional purposes. [3] By 1916, Bower had become a dispatch centre for mallee timber and roots. These were loaded at the railway station on the Morgan railway line and sent to Adelaide. [4] Bower Public School operated in the town between 1917 and 1960, replacing an earlier Lutheran school forcibly closed during World War I. [3] [5] [6]
The historic Lime Kiln Ruins on Bower Boundary Road are listed on the South Australian Heritage Register. [7]
Peterborough is a town in the mid north of South Australia, in wheat country, just off the Barrier Highway. At the 2016 census, Peterborough had a population of 1,419. It was originally named Petersburg after the landowner, Peter Doecke, who sold land to create the town. It was one of 69 places in South Australia renamed in 1917 due to anti-German sentiments during World War I.

At the 2006 census, Robertstown and the surrounding area had a population of 318. Robertstown is named for the John Roberts, the first postmaster in the area, who laid out the town in 1871. It was previously known as Emu Flats and Roberts Town.
Dutton is a settlement in South Australia. The small township lies approximately six kilometres (3.7 mi) north of Truro on the Eudunda Road. It was first laid out in 1866 and lots were advertised for sale in the German-language newspaper Südaustralische Zeitung.

Point Pass is a small town in the Mid North of South Australia, 120 kilometres North of Adelaide which is the capital city of South Australia. The town is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Eudunda, in the Regional Council of Goyder. At the 2006 census, Robertstown and the surrounding area had a population of 322.
Bundey is a locality in the Mid North region of South Australia. It is located on Goyder's Line, on the plains between Burra and Morgan in the Regional Council of Goyder. The bounded locality of Bundey corresponds to the boundaries of the cadastral Hundred of Bundey, except for the southwestern corner of the Hundred which is the northeastern corner of the locality of Geranium Plains. Bundey was named in 1878 for politician William Henry Bundey.
The Robertstown railway line was a railway line on the South Australian Railways network. It opened on 9 December 1914 from a junction with the Morgan line at Eudunda running 21.6 kilometres via Point Pass to Robertstown. The line was primarily used by goods trains, with grain trains being among the last traffic to use the line in its later years. Train Tour Promotions ran the last passenger train using locomotive 804 on the 20th of May, 1989, with the last freight train being a grain train on the 21st of February, 1990. The line formally closed on 25 September 1990. The line was lifted in the years following, with all stations on the line being demolished. The only significant railway remnants left are the former Robertstown station sign and the former goods crane. The goods crane has collapsed, though there are plans to restore it.
Geranium Plains is a small town in the Regional Council of Goyder in South Australia. The post office opened in 1894, but has since closed. There was a proposal to rename it to Iperta in 1916, but this did not go ahead.
Mount Mary is a small town on the Thiele Highway between Eudunda and Morgan in South Australia. It was also served by the Morgan railway line from 1878 until 1969 and is named for the Mount Mary railway station on that line.

The District Council of Eudunda was a local government area in South Australia from 1932 to 1997. The central town and council seat was Eudunda. It was established on 12 May 1932 with the amalgamation of the District Council of Julia and the District Council of Neales. By 1936, it was divided up into four wards: Brownlow, Eudunda and Neales and Julia. It met at the District Hall at Eudunda, which had formerly been owned by the Neales council, until 1963. The council existed until 1997, when it amalgamated with the District Council of Burra Burra, the District Council of Hallett and the District Council of Robertstown to form the Regional Council of Goyder.
