Description

This department came into existence when Haryana was established as a new state within India after being separated from Punjab. The department is responsible for the rehabilitation of displaced people who have lost their homes due to government land acquisition. Dushyant Chautala


is the cabinet minister responsible for this department from October 2014. [1] Haryana State Archives has recently acquired the records of Rehabilitation Department, Haryana (1946-1956) relating to claims and allotments. [2]

Both Zones have Operation circles namely Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind and Bhiwani in Hisar Zone and Gurugram-I, Gurgugram-II, Faridabad, Palwal, Rewari and Narnaul in Delhi Zone. Forests Department, Haryana is a department of the Government of Haryana in India that runs and maintains many protected nature areas in the state of Haryana. It has two administrative divisions: Forest and Wildlife. The department is responsible for maintaining National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries and Conservation Reserves in Haryana. It also provides a special emphasis on Soil and Moisture Conservation works in the hills to conserve water and deliver it to adjacent farmlands.
