Downtown Inglewood station is an at-grade light rail station on the K Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located alongside Florence Avenue between Market and Locust Streets in the central business district of the city of Inglewood, California.
The station opened on October 7, 2022. [1] Metro held a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony for the station on September 10, 2022. [2]

During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the station will serve spectators traveling to and from venues located in Inglewood including opening and closing ceremonies, soccer games, and archery at SoFi Stadium, gymnastics at the Kia Forum and basketball at Intuit Dome. [4]
The station is served by the SoFi Stadium Shuttle on football game days and for other major events including some concerts. Buses typically leave every 5-8 minutes to transport fans to the stadium. To speed service, fares are not collected onboard the shuttle, but valid Metro fare is still required onboard trains.
K Line service hours are approximately from 4:30 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. daily. Trains operate every 10 minutes throughout the most of the day. Trains run every 20 minutes after 8:00 p.m. every day and before 8:00 a.m. on weekends. [5]

The K Line is a light rail line in Los Angeles County. It currently consists of two separate noncontiguous segments. The 5.9-mile (9.5 km) northern segment runs north–south between the Jefferson Park and Westchester neighborhoods of Los Angeles, California, passing through various South Los Angeles neighborhoods and the city of Inglewood. The southern segment runs north–south between the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles and the city of Redondo Beach. It is one of six lines in the Los Angeles Metro Rail system operated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). The northern segment, the oldest segment of the line, opened on October 7, 2022, making it the system's newest line.
Expo Park/USC station is an at-grade light rail station on the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. SoFi Stadium is a 70,240-seat sports and entertainment indoor-outdoor stadium in the Los Angeles County suburb of Inglewood, California, United States. SoFi occupies the former site of the Hollywood Park Racetrack, 0.15 miles (0.24 km) southeast of the Kia Forum, 0.2 miles (0.32 km) northwest of Intuit Dome, and 3 miles (4.8 km) from Los Angeles International Airport.
Intuit Dome is an indoor arena in Inglewood, California. The stadium is located south of the other Inglewood sports venues, SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum. It is the home venue of the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Clippers previously played games at Crypto.com Arena, a venue the team shared with the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), from the 1999–2000 season through the 2023–24 season.
The Inglewood Transit Connector Project was a proposed 1.6-mile (2.6 km) fully elevated, automated people mover system in Inglewood, California, that would have connected the Downtown Inglewood station on the K Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system to the major sports and entertainment venues in the city: Kia Forum, SoFi Stadium, Hollywood Park Casino, and Intuit Dome. The project was planned to break ground in 2024 and begin operations in late 2027, ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympics that will use some of the venues. However, after funding rejections, the line is not likely to be built.
The Venice–Inglewood Line is a former railway line in Los Angeles County, California. The route was established by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in 1887 before eventually being absorbed into the Pacific Electric interurban railway system. Service under electrification was very sparse, providing a suburban route between Venice and Inglewood.
