Alexandria Bay is a village in Jefferson County, New York, United States, within the town of Alexandria. It is located in the Thousand Islands region of northern New York. The population of the village was 1,078 at the 2010 United States Census. It lies near the Thousand Islands Border Crossing of Canada and the United States.
The Thousand Islands constitute a North American archipelago of 1,864 islands that straddles the Canada–US border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles (80 km) downstream from Kingston, Ontario. The Canadian islands are in the province of Ontario and the U.S. islands in the state of New York.

Boldt Castle is a major landmark and tourist attraction in the Thousand Islands region of the U.S. state of New York. Open to guests seasonally between mid May and mid October, it is located on Heart Island in the Saint Lawrence River. Heart Island is part of the Town of Alexandria, in Jefferson County. Originally a private mansion built by American millionaire George Boldt, it is now maintained by the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority as a tourist attraction.
Saint Georges is an unincorporated community and former municipality situated on the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal in New Castle County, Delaware, about midway between the Delaware River and Chesapeake Bay.
The New York Yacht Club (NYYC) is a private social club and yacht club based in New York City and Newport, Rhode Island. It was founded in 1844 by nine prominent sportsmen. The members have contributed to the sport of yachting and yacht design. As of 2001, the organization was reported to have about 3,000 members. Membership in the club is by invitation only. Its officers include a commodore, vice-commodore, rear-commodore, secretary and treasurer.
G. W. & W. D. Hewitt was a prominent architectural firm in the eastern United States at the turn of the twentieth century. It was founded in Philadelphia in 1878, by brothers George Wattson Hewitt (1841–1916) and William Dempster Hewitt (1847–1924), both members of the American Institute of Architects. The firm specialized in churches, hotels and palatial residences, especially crenelated mansions such as Maybrook (1881), Druim Moir (1885–86) and Boldt Castle (1900–04). The last was built for George C. Boldt, owner of Philadelphia's Bellevue-Stratford Hotel (1902–04), G.W. & W.D. Hewitt's most well-known building.
Rockland Harbor Breakwater Light is a historic lighthouse complex at the end of the Rockland Breakwater in the harbor of Rockland, Maine. Replacing a light station at Jameson Point, the light was established in 1902, about two years after completion of the breakwater. Now automated, it continues to serve as an active aid to navigation. The light was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse on March 20, 1981.

Calumet Island is an island on the St. Lawrence River, located in the Town of Clayton in Jefferson County, New York. The island formerly featured one of the earliest examples of the large castles built in the Thousand Islands region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, of which Boldt Castle is a surviving example.
Narraguagus Light is a lighthouse on Pond Island at the southern extent of Narraguagus Bay in Downeast Maine. It was built as an aid to navigation for the bay, and the port of Milbridge, then an important deep-water shipbuilding port. It was deactivated in 1934, and is now privately owned. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "Narraguagus Light Station" on November 20, 1987.

Vernon Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church at the junction of NY 5 and Sconondoa Street in Vernon, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1892 and is a rectangular structure consisting of a square sanctuary with projecting, gable roofed wall bays on three sides and an attached parish hall wing. It features a massive engaged entrance/bell tower which incorporates an open belfry with balustrade and a large bellcast roof with slate shingles.

The Montgomery Ward Company Complex is the former national headquarters of Montgomery Ward, the United States' oldest mail order firm. The property is located along the North Branch of the Chicago River at 618 W. Chicago Avenue in Near North Side, Chicago, Illinois. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a National Historic Landmark on June 2, 1978.

Ligonier Point Historic District is a national historic district located at Willsboro, Essex County, New York. The district encompasses 8 contributing buildings, 16 contributing sites, 7 contributing structures, and 3 contributing objects related to stone quarrying, boat building, and farming by the Clark family during the 19th century. They include the Clark Quarry and Farm, Scragwood, and Old Elm or the Corrin Clark Farm Complex. The Clark Quarry is represented by the remains of the Quarry Village; the principal, second, and third quarries ; boatyard ; Yacht Narragansett ; and a boarding house. Scragwood, or the S.W. Clark Complex, includes a rustic dwelling built in stages between the 1830s and 1870s. Associated with Scragwood are the Cedar Lodge, Perennial Garden, smokehouse, summer house, and tankhouse. Old Elm was built in 1841, and is a two-story, five bay, limestone dwelling with a 1 1/2-story frame wing. Also on the Corrin Clark Farm Complex are the blacksmith shop, smokehouse, icehouse, privy, and fruit orchard. Chazy limestone quarried from the Clark Quarry was used in the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge and New York State Capitol.
The American Boathouse is a historic boathouse on Atlantic Avenue in Camden, Maine. Built in 1904, it is one of the nation's oldest recreational boathouses. It was built to house the 130-foot (40 m) yacht of Chauncey Borland, the first commodore of the Camden Yacht Club. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. In early 2015, it was listed for sale at $2.5 million.
