Perak is a state of Malaysia on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. Perak Malay is one of the Malay dialects spoken within the state of Perak, Malaysia. Although it is neither the official language nor the standard dialect in the whole state of Perak, its existence which co-exists with other major dialects in the state of Perak still plays an important role in maintaining the identity of Perak. Perak Football Club is a professional football club based in Ipoh City that competes in Malaysia Super League. Founded in 1921, the club's home ground since then has been Perak Stadium in Ipoh, Perak. The club represents the state of Perak in Malaysian football competitions. They currently play in the top division in Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League and has never been relegated since the introduction of football league in Malaysia.

The Muallim District is the eleventh district of the state of Perak, Malaysia, situated at the southeastern tip of the state, bordering the state of Selangor. It was proclaimed by the current Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah on 11 January 2016 at the Tanjung Malim District Council Building. Perak Football Club II, also named Perak II, is the reserve team of Perak FC, based in Ipoh, in the state of Perak. Founded on 30 July 2015 as part of the sports and recreation club for the Perak State Development Corporation Football Club (PKNP). The club was combined with Perak FA at end of 2019 as one club and was re-branded as a football club to be known as Perak FA. The team formerly known PKNP FC was then converted into a reserve team as part of the feeder club regulations and will begin the 2020 season as a reserve team of Perak F.C. and will play in Premier League, holding home games at Manjung Municipal Council Stadium, with a 15,000-seat capacity.

Ahmad Faizal Azumu Malaysian politician

Ahmad Faizal bin Azumu is a Malaysian politician who served as the 12th and 13th Menteri Besar of Perak from May 2018 to his resignation and collapse of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration in March 2020 and again from March 2020 to his resignation again and the collapse of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration in December 2020. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tambun and Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Chenderiang since May 2018. He is a member, Deputy President and State Chairman of Perak as well as Pahang of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the ruling PN coalition at the federal level and former component party of the PH opposition coalition at both the federal and state levels. He was the State Chairman of PH of Perak. He was one of the only two Menteris Besar of Malaysia who has ruled in two state administrations of two different and opposing political coalitions, which were PH state administration from May 2018 to his resignation and its collapse in March 2020 and PN state administration from March 2020 to his resignation and its collapse in December 2020.
