It is bordered on the northeast by the neighborhood of Çengelköy, on the east by Kirazlıtepe, on the southeast by Küplüce, on the south by Burhaniye, on the southwest by Kuzguncuk, and on the northwest by the Bosporus. Directly across the Bosporus is the Ortaköy neighborhood of Istanbul's Beşiktaş municipality.

Kemer is a town in Burdur Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. It is the seat of Kemer District. Its population is 1,456 (2021). Kemer, 45 km away from Burdur city center, was established at the foothills of the Rahat Mountains. The first meeting of the Turks with the settlement, which bears traces of many civilizations from ancient times to the present, was in 1082 during the reign of the Anatolian Seljuk Ruler Suleiman Shah. With the dissolution of the Anatolian Seljuk State, the region came under the rule of the Hamitoğulları Principality and then the Ottoman Empire.

There are 81 provinces in Turkey. Among the 81 provinces, 30 provinces are designated metropolitan municipalities. Metropolitan municipalities are subdivided into districts, where each district includes a corresponding district municipality, which is a second tier municipality.

Cumhuriyet is a neighbourhood of the town Saratlı, Gülağaç District, Aksaray Province, Turkey. Before 2013 it was a village in Gülağaç District. Its population is 232 (2022).

Muratpaşa is a municipality and district of Antalya Province, Turkey. Its area is 96 km2, and its population is 526,293 (2022). The district covers part of the city centre of Antalya, and has a coastline of 20 km (12 mi). The Mediterranean Sea lies to the south of the district. Ümit Uysal is the mayor of Muratpaşa.
