Batman is a city and capital of Batman District in Batman Province, Turkey. It lies on a plateau, 540 meters above sea level, near the confluence of the Batman River and the Tigris and had a population of 452,157 in 2021. It is populated by Kurds.
Batman Province is a province in Turkey. It was created in May 1990 with the Law No. 3647 taking some parts from the eastern Province of Siirt and some from the southern Province of Mardin. Its area is 4,477 km2, and its population is 634,491 (2022). Its current governor is Ekrem Canalp.
Çorum is a northern Anatolian city in Turkey. Çorum is located inland in the central Black Sea Region of Turkey, and is approximately 244 km (152 mi) from Ankara and 608 km (378 mi) from Istanbul. It is the seat of Çorum Province and of Çorum District. Its population is 269,595 (2022). The city has an elevation of 801 m (2,628 ft) above sea level.
Tuzla is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. It has a population of 288,878 (2022) and a land area of 138 km2. It is on the Asian side of the city next to the municipality of Pendik. Tuzla is on a headland on the coast of Marmara Sea, at the eastern limit of the city. The mayor is Şadi Yazıcı (AKP).
Şile is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 800 km2, and its population is 43,464 (2022). Bordering Şile is the province of Kocaeli to the east and south, and Istanbul districts of Pendik to the south, Çekmeköy to the southwest, and Beykoz to the west. The popular resort town Ağva is also a part of Şile. However, between June and September, the population rapidly increases because of the many residents of Istanbul who have summer houses in Şile.
Beylerbeyi is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Üsküdar, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 5,168 (2022). It is located on the Asian shore of the Bosporus, to the north of the Bosphorus Bridge. It is bordered on the northeast by the neighborhood of Çengelköy, on the east by Kirazlıtepe, on the southeast by Küplüce, on the south by Burhaniye, on the southwest by Kuzguncuk, and on the northwest by the Bosporus. Directly across the Bosporus is the Ortaköy neighborhood of Istanbul's Beşiktaş municipality.
Mersin Province, formerly İçel Province, is a province and metropolitan municipality in southern Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast between Antalya and Adana. Its area is 16,010 km2, and its population is 1,916,432 (2022). The provincial capital and the biggest city in the province is Mersin, which is composed of four municipalities and district governorates: Akdeniz, Mezitli, Toroslar and Yenişehir. Next largest is Tarsus, the birthplace of Paul the Apostle. The province is considered to be a part of the geographical, economical and cultural region of Çukurova, which covers the provinces of Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye and Hatay.
The National Library of Turkey is the national library of Turkey, located in Ankara. It was founded on April 15, 1946.
İcadiye is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Üsküdar, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 15,962 (2022). It is on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is centered on İcadiye Hill and is bordered on the north by Kuzguncuk, on the east by Altunizade, on the south by Selami Ali, and on the west by Sultantepe. It is mostly a residential neighborhood, with a few historic houses and buildings.

Cumhuriyet is a neighbourhood of the town Saratlı, Gülağaç District, Aksaray Province, Turkey. Before 2013 it was a village in Gülağaç District. Its population is 232 (2022).
Yeşil Yenice is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Bozdoğan, Aydın Province, Turkey. Its population is 210 (2022). In 2013 villages in the province changed to the mahalle (neighbourhood) form of local government; there was already a neighbourhood with the same name in Bozdoğan so from 2014 the village became Yeşil Yenice.
Muratpaşa is a municipality and district of Antalya Province, Turkey. Its area is 96 km2, and its population is 526,293 (2022). The district covers part of the city centre of Antalya, and has a coastline of 20 km (12 mi). The Mediterranean Sea lies to the south of the district. Ümit Uysal is the mayor of Muratpaşa.
