This is a list of members of the 27th National Council (German : Nationalrat) of Austria, the lower house of the bicameral legislature. The 27th National Council was elected in the 29 September 2019 legislative election, and was constituted in its first session on 23 October 2019.
Originally, the National Council comprised 71 members of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 40 members of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), 31 members of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), 26 members of The Greens – The Green Alternative (GRÜNE), and 15 members of NEOS – The New Austria and Liberal Forum (NEOS). [1] In the constituent session of the National Council on 23 October 2019, Philippa Strache was expelled from the FPÖ. She has since sat as a non-attached member. [2] [3] As a result, the FPÖ group consists of 30 members. [4]
The President of the National Council was Wolfgang Sobotka (ÖVP). The Second President is Doris Bures (SPÖ), and the Third President is Norbert Hofer (FPÖ). [5]
This session was dissolved before the 2024 Austrian legislative election.

The Alliance for the Future of Austria is a right-wing populist, national conservative political party in Austria.
Heinz-Christian Strache is an Austrian politician and dental technician who served as Vice-Chancellor of Austria from 2017 to 2019 before resigning owing to his involvement in the Ibiza affair. He was also Minister of Civil Service and Sports from January 2018 to May 2019 and chairman of the Freedom Party (FPÖ) from April 2005 to May 2019. He previously served as a member of the National Council from October 2006 until December 2017 and as a member of the municipal council and state legislature of Vienna (2001–2006).

The Freedom Party of Austria is a political party in Austria, variously described as far-right, right-wing populist, national-conservative, eurosceptic and russophile. Vienna South, also known as Electoral District 9D, is one of the 39 multi-member regional electoral districts of the National Council, the lower house of the Austrian Parliament, the national legislature of Austria. The electoral district was created in 1992 when electoral regulations were amended to add regional electoral districts to the existing state-wide electoral districts and came into being at the following legislative election in 1994. It consists of the districts of Favoriten, Meidling and Simmering in the city-state of Vienna. The electoral district currently elects six of the 183 members of the National Council using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2019 legislative election the constituency had 225,324 registered electors.
Reinhard Johannes Teufel is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party serving as a member of the Landtag of Lower Austria since 2018. Since 2023, he has served as group leader of the Freedom Party in the Landtag.
