Long Clawson and Hose railway station was a railway station serving the villages of Long Clawson and Hose, Leicestershire [1] on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint Railway. It opened in 1879 and closed to regular traffic in 1953. [2]

It contains the villages of Harby, Hose and Long Clawson and the parish was created from those former parishes on the 1st of April 1936. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 2,577.

Penruddock railway station was situated on the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway between Penrith and Cockermouth in Cumberland, England. The station served the villages of Penruddock and Motherby. The station opened to passenger traffic on 2 January 1865, and closed on 6 March 1972.
