Russ music (Norwegian : russemusikk) is a subgenre of electronic dance music and a music scene which originated from Norway during the mid-2000s. [1] Drawing inspiration from EDM, hip hop and techno. Russ music is characterized by its fast tempo, synthesizers, notable bass and explicit lyrics, often combined with rapping.
Usually, this type of music are produced on request by Norwegian high school graduates to promote their "russ concept" as a part of the russ celebration. [2]
Russ music has lately been labeled as a controversial genre as a part of an constantly growing market. Record producers are heavily criticized for their use of explicit lyrics, as the distribution of russ music has grown to be an independent music industry in Norway. [3]

deLillos is a Norwegian poprock band formed in Oslo in 1984. Viking Stadion, is a football stadium in Stavanger, Norway. It was inaugurated in May 2004 and cost 160 million NOK to build. 50 million NOK, plus the lot it was built on, was a gift from the municipality. It replaced Stavanger Stadion as the home stadium of Viking FK.

Sparebanken Sør Arena is a football stadium located at Torsvika in Kristiansand, Norway. The all-seater has a capacity of 14,563 people, and serves as the home ground of Tippeligaen side IK Start. It was designed by Kjell Kosberg, and is architecturally similar to Aker Stadion. The venue has seen concerts by Elton John, Dolly Parton and A-ha, among others.. UEFA refers to the stadium as Kristiansand Arena.

Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. First awarded in 1973, the prize honours musicians from the previous year; it is still awarded annually, usually in January or February. The Spellemann committee, composed of members of IFPI Norway and FONO, manages the award and acts as the judge. 21 categories are currently awarded, in addition to other honorary and industry awards the committee may give. In 2020 and 2021, the award show was held digitally due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Extra Arena is the home ground of the Norwegian football club Ranheim Fotball. It is located in the city-area of Ranheim in the city of Trondheim. The stadion had to be enlarged to comply with Eliteserien guideline of a minimum of 3000 seats.
Sonny John Moore, known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ and music producer. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, he joined the post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. Robbin Söderlund, better known by his artistic name Raaban, is a Swedish DJ and music producer. He was also part of the production duo Tungevaag & Raaban alongside Norwegian DJ/producer Martin Tungevaag until they split in late 2019.

Incorporating uncredited vocals provided by Norwegian recording artist Torine, it was released through MER Musikk, and exclusively licensed to Liquid State, a division of Sony Music, on 30 August 2019. It is a revamp of Mangoo's song "Eurodancer", which was released in 2000.
Sas Plus/Sas Pussy is the second extended play (EP) by the Norwegian hip hop duo Karpe, composed of rappers Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid and Chirag Rashmikant Patel.
