The Cathedral of Saint Paul — informally known as Saint Paul's Cathedral — is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Designed by Chicago architect Adolphus Druiding, the Victorian Gothic-style brick building was completed as a parish church in 1893. The parish it serves was established in 1872 and the cornerstone bears both dates. It was elevated to cathedral status with the creation of the Diocese of Birmingham in 1969.

The district marks a location and site important in the 17th-century ecclesiastical history of Maryland, as an example of a self-contained Jesuit community made self-supporting by the surrounding 700-acre (2.8 km2) farm. The two principal historic structures were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Archaeological remains associated with the site date back to the early colonial period, mid-17th century.

Hutchisson, in the Gothic Revival style. The current building was built in 1874 and dedicated on January 21, 1877. It replaced an earlier frame structure that had been completed in 1847 and burned prior to the erection of this building. This building was originally the parish church for Saint Vincent de Paul Parish. The neighboring St. Peter Claver Parish was established in 1911. On December 25, 1970 these two parishes were combined to form Prince of Peace Parish. A new Saint Vincent de Paul Parish was then established in western Mobile County to serve the Tillmans Corner area. The church was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 24, 1992, as a part of the Historic Roman Catholic Properties in Mobile Multiple Property Submission.
