Sporobacterium is a Gram-positive, strictly anaerobic and chemoorganotrophic bacterial genus from the family of Lachnospiraceae with one known species ( Sporobacterium olearium ). [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] Sporobacterium olearium produces methanethiol. [5] [6]
