Stalham railway station was a station in North Norfolk serving the settlement of Stalham. It was on the line between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. [1] It is now closed, having been shut in 1959 [2] when the line was closed. The station lay derelict and unused for many years after closure. However the station buildings were dismantled and rebuilt at the new Holt station on the North Norfolk Railway.

Stalham is a market town and civil parish on the River Ant in the English county of Norfolk, in East Anglia. It covers an area of 2.82 sq mi (7.3 km2) and had a population of 2,951 in 1,333 households at the 2001 census, the population increasing to 3,149 at the 2011 Census. It lies within the Norfolk Broads, about 15 miles (24 km) north-east of Norwich on the A149 road. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk. The parts of the parish lying adjacent to the river fall into the executive area of the Broads Authority.

Yarmouth Beach railway station was a railway station serving Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. It was opened in 1877 by the Great Yarmouth & Stalham Light Railway. In 1893 it was taken over by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway which had built a large network of track over East Anglia, initially conceived to transport holidaymakers from the Midlands to their destinations on the Norfolk coast. Acquiring Yarmouth Beach station fitted into this grand strategy. The line was also dependent on use by local travellers.

Holt railway station was a railway station, since closed and dismantled, that served the town of Holt in Norfolk, England. It was part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway network, which spread over much of East Anglia, providing connections to Cromer, Norwich and Yarmouth. Closed in 1964, there are proposals afoot to rebuild the line through the locality as part of an orbital railway scheme.

Aylsham North railway station was a station in Aylsham, Norfolk on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line from the Midlands to the Norfolk coast. It was closed in 1959, along with the rest of the line. The station was demolished following its closure and is now a car park for the Weavers Way; this footpath follows the old trackbed to Yarmouth.

Potter Heigham railway station was a railway station in Norfolk. It was on the line between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. It closed in 1959. In 2012 still in situ is the platform wall, some of the stations buildings and an old signal being used by Richardson's dry dock. You can trace the old line a good few miles to Stalham.

It was closed in 1959 when the rest of the line was shut by British Railways, as it was considered unprofitable.
