Terrington railway station is a former station in Terrington St Clement, Norfolk. It opened in 1866 and was closed in 1959. [1] [2] It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway between the Midlands and Melton Constable. [3]

Melton Constable is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 6.96 km2 (2.69 sq mi) and had a population of 518 in 225 households at the 2001 census. The population had increased to 618 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk. The village sits on fairly high ground south-west of Holt.
North Walsham railway station is on the Bittern Line in Norfolk, England, serving the town of North Walsham. It is 16 miles (26 km) down the line from Norwich, between Worstead to the south and Gunton to the north. Train services are operated by Greater Anglia.
Melton Constable was a railway station on the Midland and Great Northern Railway which served the North Norfolk village of Melton Constable from 1882 to 1964. Notwithstanding its rural location, the station became an important railway centre with lines converging from all directions providing connections to key East Anglian towns such as King's Lynn, Norwich, Cromer, Fakenham, Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Although long since demolished, there is a possibility that the station may yet be resurrected as part of the proposed Norfolk Orbital Railway.
Drayton railway station is a former station in Norfolk, England. Constructed by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in the 1880s, on the line between Melton Constable and Norwich, it was closed to passengers in 1959. It served the settlement of Drayton now on the outskirts of Norwich. The site is now home to an industrial site. Many of the buildings follow the old footings of the platform and other buildings. Several of the railway bridges in this area have been filled in or removed. The footings for the bridge entering Drayton from Norwich is now a house. Its former site is now on Marriott's Way.
Attlebridge railway station is a closed station in Norfolk, England. It served the small village of Attlebridge. It was constructed by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in the 1880s on the line between Melton Constable and Norwich City.
Guestwick railway station is a former station in Norfolk, England. It was constructed by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in 1882 on the line between Melton Constable and Norwich City. It was closed in 1959. It served the village of Guestwick. It is on the path of Marriott's Way which follows the route of the old line.
Hindolvestone railway station was in North Norfolk, England. It was part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway branch from Melton Constable to Norwich. It opened in 1882 and closed in 1959. It served the small village of Hindolveston. The station was spelled with an 'e' on the end although OS maps show it without.
Holt railway station served the town of Holt in Norfolk, England. It was part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway network, which spread over much of East Anglia, providing connections to Cromer, Norwich and Yarmouth. The station was closed in 1964 and the site is now occupied by a main road. There are proposals to rebuild the line through the town, as part of an orbital railway scheme, and possibly a new station to serve the town.
Thursford railway station was a station in Norfolk, England on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line between Melton Constable and South Lynn. It was closed in 1959 along with the rest of the line. It served the settlement of Thursford, where Station Road remains as a reminder.
East Rudham railway station is a former station in East Rudham, Norfolk. It opened in 1880 and closed in 1959. It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway between South Lynn and Melton Constable. Initially known as Rudham railway station, it changed its name to East Rudham after two years.
Hillington railway station was a station in Hillington, Norfolk on the now closed Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line between South Lynn and Melton Constable. It closed in 1959 along with the rest of the line.
Corpusty and Saxthorpe railway station served the North Norfolk villages of Corpusty and Saxthorpe.
Honing railway station was a station in Norfolk, England, serving the small village of Honing. It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. It closed along with the rest of the line in 1959.
Stalham railway station was a station in North Norfolk serving the settlement of Stalham. It was on the line between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. It is now closed, having been shut in 1959 when the line was closed. The station lay derelict and unused for many years after closure. However the station buildings were dismantled and rebuilt at the new Holt station on the North Norfolk Railway.
Potter Heigham railway station was a railway station in Norfolk. It was on the line between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. It closed in 1959. In 2012 still in situ is the platform wall, some of the stations buildings and an old signal being used by Richardson's dry dock. You can trace the old line a good few miles to Stalham.

Martham railway station was a station in Martham, Norfolk. It was on the line between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth. It closed in 1959.
North Walsham Town railway station was a station in North Walsham, Norfolk. It served the now closed Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway lines to Melton Constable via Aylsham, Melton Constable via Mundesley and Sheringham, and Great Yarmouth via Potter Heigham. It was closed in 1959 when the rest of the line was shut by British Railways, as it was considered unprofitable.
Ashwell railway station was a station in Ashwell, Rutland on the line between Melton Mowbray and Oakham. It lies west of the village, on the road to Whissendine. Just north of Ashwell was Ashwell Junction where the Cottesmore Ironstone Branch joined. This was in use between 1883 and 1974 and served quarries in the vicinity of Cottesmore and Exton. Part of the former mineral branch line is now Rutland Railway Museum.
Upper Broughton was a railway station serving Upper Broughton in the English county of Nottinghamshire. It was opened on the Nottingham direct line of the Midland Railway between London and Nottingham, avoiding Leicester. The line still exists today as the Old Dalby Test Track.
