Toyota Motor Manufacturing Russia was one of Toyota's vehicle production bases in Europe. It was located in Shushary, Saint Petersburg, Russia, and it manufactured the Camry and the RAV4. [1]

History

On 14 June 2005, the construction of the new plant began and it opened on 21 December 2007 with the production of the sixth generation Toyota Camry. [2] On August 22nd 2016 the Toyota RAV4 started production as the second model to be produced at the Russia plant. [3] On 1 March 2022, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Toyota announced that their plant will close and all activity will be suspended. [4] On 23 September 2022, Toyota officially closed the TMMR plant. [5] But the Toyota's Russian dealerships still livres on today.

Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. (TMT) is the wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation in Thailand, established in 1962. In 1979, Toyota began making pressed body parts in Thailand. In 1989, TMT began manufacturing engines locally. TMT controls the manufacturing of Toyota cars in Thailand and they supply cars to various official dealers throughout Thailand. TMT's main export market is the ASEAN region and the Oceania, but TMT also export cars to different parts of the world, especially the Toyota Hilux Vigo model. Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) is a subsidiary of Toyota, based in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, responsible for the assembly and distribution of Toyota vehicles in the Philippines since 1988. The company was established on August 3, 1988, as a joint venture between Toyota, Mitsui & Co and GT Capital.

The Dynamic Force engines are a family of internal combustion engines developed by Toyota under the brand's Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) strategy. The engines can be fueled by petrol (gasoline) or ethanol and can be combined with electric motors in a hybrid drivetrain. The engines were developed alongside the TNGA family of vehicle platforms, as part of a company-wide effort to simplify the vehicles being produced by Toyota.
