Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, formerly Great Lakes Crossing, is an enclosed shopping mall in the city of Auburn Hills, Michigan, a northern suburb of Detroit. The site of the mall was originally to have been occupied by a different mall called Auburn Mills, which was never built due to financial issues of its intended developer, Western Development Corporation. Great Lakes Crossing was built on the site and opened in 1998. Constructed and owned by Taubman Centers, Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is the largest outlet mall in the state of Michigan. It features 185 stores, with anchor stores including Burlington, Bass Pro Shops, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Marshalls; other notable attractions include a 1,000-seat food court, a 25-screen AMC movie theater, Round1, Legoland Discovery Center, and Sea Life Michigan.

Downtown Commons, formerly known as Sacramento Downtown Plaza, Westfield Downtown Plaza and Downtown Plaza, is a two-level outdoor mixed-use entertainment and shopping complex operated by JMA Ventures, LLC, located along the alignment of K Street in downtown Sacramento, California, near the State Capitol building. The complex is bordered by J Street to the north, L Street to the south, 7th Street to the east and 4th Street to the west. Downtown Commons' previous format was a mainly two-level outdoor shopping mall commonly known as Downtown Plaza, despite numerous official name changes over the years. The majority of the site has been redeveloped, centering on the Golden 1 Center, home of the NBA's Sacramento Kings. The section between 5th and 7th Streets was demolished in 2014 to make room for the Golden 1 Center, as well as The Sawyer, a 250-room boutique hotel operated by Kimpton Hotels immediately north of the arena site. The remaining standing section between 4th and 5th Streets was also redeveloped in association with the arena project.

Like the nearby Six Flags Great America and Great Wolf Lodge, the mall's placement in Gurnee is intended to bring customers from both Chicago and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With 1,936,699 square feet (179,925.2 m2) of gross leasable area and ten major anchor stores in its Z-shaped single-story building, it is the third largest mall in Illinois, and the largest of the four enclosed shopping centers in Lake County. Owned and operated by the Simon Property Group, it was an early part of the "Landmark Mills" chain of shopping malls built by the Mills Corporation. The mall features Macy's, Kohl's, Marshalls, Value City Furniture, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, Bed Bath & Beyond, Forever 21, H&M, Dick's Sporting Goods, Marcus Theatres, Rainforest Cafe, Top Shelf Ice Arena, The RoomPlace, Lee Wrangler Clearance Center, Burlington Coat Factory, Rink Side, Buy Buy Baby and Floor & Decor as its anchor tenants.

Currently, the center is entirely a strip mall now, the remaining enclosed portion having been demolished and rebuilt. The center features over 60 stores and several restaurants. HiLITE Mall is being constructed as a part of the HiLITE City which has 3,200,000 sq ft (300,000 m2) in first phase and 10,000,000 sq ft (930,000 m2) in the second phase, an integrated township project from HiLITE Builders. The mall location is very close to the IT Parks, which gives a decent footfalls during weekdays as well. The mall is being constructed in two phases, phase 1 is complete and phase 2 is under construction which is scheduled to complete by 2019 Q1. Phase 2 will include an eight screen multiplex and NESTO Hypermarket chain. Hi Lite Mall is a huge mall, where locals prefer spending the evenings. There is ample paid parking at the mall. There are outlets of many well known brands, a food court, supermarkets, departmental stores as well as various avenues for entertainment. There is something for every age group and the mall also provides a good option for tourists to pass the time.
Union Landing Shopping Center is an open-air shopping mall in Union City, California with over 70 stores, restaurants, entertainment, hotels, and services. This is a 1,000,000 square-foot lifestyle center and is the largest shopping center in Union City. The majority of this area was occupied by Union City Drive-In Theater between 1966 and 1998. In June 2019, some of the retail buildings and restaurants were painted and remodeled along with street light banners which were added in 2021. The main stores are Walmart, Lucky, Ross Dress For Less, Michaels, Best Buy, Lowe's, Petco, Century Theatres, Burlington Coat Factory ,Video only, Flor marijuana dispensary store, both new stores will open in 2021.The mall was completed in 1999 after several years of debate on the land.
