Visakhapatnam, formerly known as Vizagapatam is the proposed executive capital of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the most populated and largest city of Andhra Pradesh. It lies between the Eastern Ghats and the coast of the Bay of Bengal. It is the second largest city in the east coast of India after Chennai and also the fourth largest city in South India. It is one of the four smart cities of Andhra Pradesh selected under Smart Cities Mission. It also serves as the headquarters of Visakhapatnam district. With an estimated output of $43.5 billion, the city is the ninth largest contributor to India's overall Gross domestic product as of 2016. In 2020, Visakhapatnam emerged as the finalist in the World Smart City Awards under Living and Inclusion category.

He served as President of Lavazza from 1979 until 2008.Throughout his lifetime, he had received much recognition such as, Honorary President prior to retiring his position in the Lavazza company. In 2010, Lavazza died due to a severe heart attack in Turin, Italy. The Lavazza company, today, is the sixth biggest coffee roaster with mustering over $1.1billion euros in sales. The company sells coffee in more than 90 countries after Emilio's reign as head of Lavazza.
Visakhapatnam Junction railway station is a major railway station located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is administered under the South Coast Railway zone. In 2017, as a part of the Swachh Rail campaign, the Quality Council of India rated Visakhapatnam as the most pristine railway station in the country. The station is a major stop on the Howrah–Chennai main line. For its progress in adopting green concepts through reduction of adverse environmental impacts, the Visakhapatnam railway station was awarded a Platinum rating by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). The award is based on the efficiency of the station in six environmental categories, including Sustainable Station Facility; Health, Hygiene and Sanitation; Energy Efficiency; Water Efficiency; Smart Green Initiatives; and Innovation and Development.
