Kuppam Airport (Domestic Airport) is a public airport under construction at Kuppam, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. [1] The greenfield airport will be built by the Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (INCAP). [2] The airport is to handle Passengers and cargo operations. The project site is located at Shantipuram mandal, about 25 km (16 mi) from the proposed eight-lane Chennai–Bangalore Expressway, and will be built at an estimated cost of ₹ 100 crore (equivalent to ₹114 croreorUS$14 million in 2020) in 1,000 acres (4.0 km2). The regions around Kuppam has a wide horticulture presence with several plantations of flowers, fruits and vegetables. The Chittoor district has also seen an increased industrial activity. To benefit the economy of the area, a cargo airport has been proposed. [1]
In 2015, INCAP conducted a feasibility study for the development of five greenfield airports in the state, including Kuppam. [3] [4] The Central Government of India cleared the proposal for an airstrip at Kuppam on 2 August[ failed verification ] 2018. [1] The then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, laid the foundation stone for the airport project on 3 January 2019. [5] It was originally slated to complete the construction within the next eight months. [5] Construction is expected to Start in the Year 2023 and to be completed by December 2024.[ citation needed ]
Nara Chandrababu Naidu is an Indian politician and current leader of opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He is a former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, serving from 2014 to 2019. He is the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after it was divided. Previously, he served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1995 to 2004, before the state's division, and as the leader of the opposition in the united Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2004 to 2014. He is the National President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and the longest-serving Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Chittoor is a city and district headquarters in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the mandal and divisional headquarters of Chittoor mandal and Chittoor revenue division, respectively. The city has a population of 153,756 and that of the agglomeration is 175,647.

Kuppam is a Granite City of Andhra Pradesh. Kuppam is a Municipality in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh located 115.8 kilometers South-East of Bangalore, the Capital City of Karnataka and 243 kilometers West of Chennai the Capital City of Tamil Nadu. It is the Mandal Headquarters of Kuppam Mandal in Kuppam Revenue Division. The name 'Kuppam' Means a meeting place or confluence.

Kuppam is a Legislative Assembly constituency of Andhra Pradesh. Nara Chandrababu Naidu is the present MLA of the constituency, who won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Telugu Desam Party.
Gangavaram Port, located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Inaugurated in July 2009, it has a depth of 21m. It is managed by Gangavaram Port Ltd., a special-purpose company floated by Mr. DVS Raju, who serves as its chairman and managing director. The company is owned by the DVS Raju Group (58.1%), Adani Ports (31.5%) and the Andhra Pradesh Government (10.4%).
Ramagundam Airport is a proposed airport located at Kesoram Cement Factory in Basanth Nagar serving the city of Ramagundam, in the Indian state of Telangana. The existing airstrip was served by Vayudoot in the 1980s until the airline was shut down. Currently, the Telangana State Government intends to further develop the airport.
The Polavaram Project is an under construction multi-purpose irrigation project on the Godavari River in the Eluru District and East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. The project has been accorded National project status by the Central Government of India. Its reservoir back water spreads up to the Dummugudem Anicut and approx 115 km on Sabari River side. Thus back water spreads into parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha States. It gives major boost to tourism sector in Godavari Districts as the reservoir covers the famous Papikonda National Park, Polavaram hydro electric project (HEP) and National Waterway 4 are under construction on left side of the river. It is located 40 km to the upstream of Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage in Rajamahendravaram City and 25 km from Rajahmundry Airport.
Nellore Airport is a proposed greenfield airport project near Dagadarthi, India, intended to serve the Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. The airport is to be developed on 1,352 acres (5.47 km2) of land with an estimated cost of ₹368 crore.
Vijayawada Metro is proposed light rail transit system in the Indian city of Vijayawada. The system is proposed to reduce traffic congestion in the city and consists three corridors which will construct in 3 Phases. Phase-I covering 24.5 km, phase-ll covering 12.50 Km, phase-lll covering 28 km. The project was estimated approximately ₹15,000 crore. It was proposed in the form of light Metro which consists of 3 coaches.

Machilipatnam Port is a proposed deep sea port on the coast of Bay of Bengal. It is located at Machilipatnam, the District Headquarters of Krishna district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Although Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy laid the foundation for the port in 2008, no significant efforts have been made after his demise in 2009.
Kothagudem Airport is a proposed greenfield airport at Kothagudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana, India. The Government of Telangana has identified 1,600 acres of land at Punukuduchelka village in Kothagudem mandal for the purpose.
Kurnool Airport, officially known as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy Airport, is a greenfield airport at Orvakal, Kurnool district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is situated on National Highway 40, about 18 km (11 mi) from Kurnool and 54 km (34 mi) from Nandyal. The airport is built in 1,008 acres (4.08 km2) at a cost of ₹153 crore (US$19 million) as a low-cost airport to improve connectivity to remote areas. The airport has begun commercial operations in March 2021.

Tirupati district is one of the twenty-six districts in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and one of the eight districts in the Rayalaseema region of the Andhra Pradesh state. The district headquarters is located at Tirupati city. Tirupati district is known for its numerous historic temples, including the Hindu shrine of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, Sri Kalahasteeswara temple and many others. Tirupati district was once the part of Larger North Arcot district of Madras Presidency and subsequently become the part of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh until carved out as the separate district in 2022.
