  1. Area served – Town or city where the airport is located. This may not always be an exact location as some airports are situated in the periphery of the town/city they serve.
  2. ICAO – The four letter airport code assigned by the International Civil Aviation Organization. ICAO codes for India start with VA [West Zone - Mumbai Center], VE [East Zone - Kolkata Center], VI [North Zone - Delhi Center] and VO [South Zone - Chennai Center]
  3. IATA – The three letter airport code assigned by the International Air Transport Association
  4. Airport type – Type of the airport, including the terminology used by Airports Authority of India, [1] as per the first table below
  5. Airport functional status – Functional status of the airport as per the second table below

Shravasti Airport is a domestic airport, which serves the city of Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is near an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, where The Buddha is believed to have spent 24 monsoons in this city. Numerous stupas, monasteries and several temples near the archaeological site of Sahet-Mahet establish Buddha's association with Shravasti. The airport is being developed by upgrading the existing airfield, which was used only by the Government and VIPs, in three phases. It covers an area of 57 acres, and has a terminal building, an Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, an apron for parking of two 19-seater Dornier 228 aircraft, a fire station and a runway.

Moradabad Airport is a domestic airport in the city of Moradabad, situated midway between Moradabad and Rampur on National Highway 9 in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Being 19 km (12 mi) from the Moradabad Railway Station and 15 kms from the Rampur Railway Station, it's strategically located to serve both districts. It has been developed by upgrading the existing government airstrip.

Jalgaon Airport is a domestic airport serving the city of Jalgaon in Maharashtra, India. It is located in Kusumbe, off National Highway 753F (NH-753F), 9 km (5.6 mi) southeast of the city centre, and 47 km (29 mi) away from the Ajanta Caves, for which it is its closest airport. The airport has a flight training institute run by Skynex Aviation. After resumption of operations in April 2024 with Fly91 and Alliance Air from June 2024, the airport became one of the fastest growing airports in Maharashtra, with direct connectivity to the major cities of Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Goa and Ahmedabad. As of June 2024, it is the fifth-busiest airport in the state by private and commercial aircraft movements.

Pakyong Airport is a non-operational domestic airport near Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, India.

Chitrakoot Airport is operational now domestic airport which will serve the city of Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located at Dewangna in Chitrakoot district, 12 km (7.5 mi) from the city center. The existing airstrip with a runway is currently owned by the Civil Aviation Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In January 2019, the State Government decided to expand the airstrip and construct an airport terminal by acquiring additional land from the forest department. The airport has a pre-fabricated passenger terminal covering 525 square meters and can accommodate 20 arriving and 20 departing passengers. In October 2020, Gurugram-based Aviation Connectivity and Infrastructure Developers Pvt Ltd won the rights to operate flights from the airport to Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi, under the government's UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme. Currently, the airport is not operational, and the terminal is being handled only for private operations. To make it a full-fledged commercial airport, it is undergoing expansion, which includes a new 2,500-metre runway, suitable for handling Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 type aircraft, an apron, and a new passenger terminal. Before the completion of the expansion project, the existing terminal is announced to restart operations, and for that, is expected to get the license within 4-5 months from now, as of February 2023. The expansion project is expected to be completed by 2024.

Darbhanga Airport is a domestic airport and an Indian Air Force Station, serving Darbhanga, Bihar, India. It is located just at the outskirts of the city near the NH-527B and NH-57 highways, which passes through Darbhanga. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The foundation stone for the airport was laid by the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, and the then Civil Aviation Minister, Suresh Prabhu, in the presence of the State Civil Aviation Minister, Jayant Sinha, on 24 December 2018. After efforts taken by the then Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri. Commercial flights started on 8 November 2020.

Hindon Airport, also spelled Hindan Airport, is a commercial domestic airport and an Indian Air Force base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, operated by the Airports Authority of India at Hindan Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. It is the second commercial airport serving the National Capital Region after Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and 20 kms from Connaught Place.

Deoghar Airport is a domestic airport serving Deoghar in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated approximately 12 kilometres (7.4 mi) from the city centre. The airport has been primarily developed to serve the region of North-Eastern part of Jharkhand and some districts of West Bengal and Bihar. It also caters millions of pilgrims of Baidyanath Temple across the country and Sammed Shikarji for Jains. It is spread over 654 acres (265 ha). The airport has a 2,500 meter long runway, capable of handling Airbus A320, A321 and Boeing 737 type of aircraft. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the airport on 25 May 2018, and it was opened on 12 July 2022.
