Kota Airport( IATA : KTU, ICAO : VIKO) is a domestic airport in Kota in the state of Rajasthan, India.
Spread over 152 acres, Kota Airport was originally built by the royal family of the princely state of Kota and was taken over by the government in 1951. This Airport Also Known As Rajputana Airport. Originally serviced by Indian Airlines Dakota aircraft and later by Vayudoot and Jagson Airlines, shutdown of major industries and Kota becoming a major railway junction effected decreased demand for air transport and the withdrawal of the airlines. Since 1997, there have been no scheduled operations at this airport, [2] though there has been talk of Air India starting flights to Mumbai and Delhi. [3] The last airline to fly to Kota was Vayudoot. In 2005, it was reported that Airports Authority of India, which maintains the airport spends Rs. 6.3 million annually on maintenance, whereas the income is Rs. 600,000, while six acres of the airports property has been encroached upon by slums. The representative of Rajasthan Government intimated that runway length of Existing Kota Airport is only 4000 feet, which restricts flight operations under the UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme. Hence, a new Greenfield Airport is to be constructed in Kota. State Government has earmarked required land for this purpose. State Government has provided Meteorological Information of past 10 years and AAI has carried out pre-feasibility survey & provided its report to the State Government. 1250 Acres of land has to be acquired by the State Government and handed over to AAI for development of New Greenfield Airport. A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed in July 2024 between the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Urban Development Department, and the Civil Aviation Department of Rajasthan Government for the development of the greenfield airport. Kadapa Airport is a domestic airport serving Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located 12 km (7.5 mi) from the city, and is spread over 669.5 acres (270.9 ha) of land. It has been upgraded at a cost of ₹ 42 crore. The upgraded airport was inaugurated on 7 June 2015 by the then Minister of Civil Aviation, Ashok Gajapathi Raju. The terminal building has a capacity to handle 100 peak hour passengers at a time and the apron can accommodate seven ATR-72 type aircraft.

Bilaspur Airport, officially known as Bilasa Devi Kevat Airport, is a domestic airport serving the city of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is located at Chakarbhata, 10 km (6.2 mi) south from the city centre. The airport made by the Royal Indian Air Force in 1942, making it the first and oldest airport of Chhattisgarh. Vijayapura Airport Proposed to be named as Jagatjyoti Shri Basaveshwar Airport, Vijayapura is an under-construction greenfield airport that will serve the city of Vijayapura in Karnataka, India. The airport is being built by the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) at a cost of Rs 220 crore. The project site is located 15 km from the city on 727-acre (2.94 km2) of land in Madhabavi, located outside the city premises. The airport was expected to be ready by early 2023, but this has been pushed back to February 2024.

Kota Greenfield Airport is a proposed airport, planned to be built at Shambupura village in Bundi district, approximately 15 kilometres from Kota, 20 kilometres from Bundi and 50 kilometres from Rawatbhata, in Rajasthan, India. The airport will be built by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The airport site is within 10 kilometres of the Chambal Ghariyal wildlife sanctuary and within 10 kilometres of the Mukundara Hills National Park. The proposed airport falls in the notified buffer area of Ramgarh Vishdhari Wildlife Sanctuary and will use 466 hectares of forest land.
