Nagarjuna Sagar Airport is an airport located in Guntur District in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. [3] The airport is used by private and chartered aircraft and has no scheduled services. [4] There are plans to upgrade the facility to enable scheduled commercial operations. [5] [6] In March 2020, the Airports Authority of India announced it was considering developing the airport into a water aerodrome for use by seaplanes. [7] [8] [9]

It has 24 gates and balancing reservoir with 46 Tmcft capacity at 175 feet (53 m) MSL full reservoir level (FRL).

Nagarjuna Sagar tail pond is a multipurpose reservoir located 21 km downstream from the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam across the Krishna River near Satrasala in Nalgonda district, India. Its gross water storage capacity is 6 Tmcft. The reservoir water spread area extends up to the toe of the Nagarjuna Sagar dam. The project was completed by July 2014.

UDAN Indian airport development plan

Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik, known by its acronym UDAN is a regional airport development program of the Government of India and part of the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) of upgrading under-serviced air routes. Its goal is to make air travel affordable and widespread, to boost inclusive national economic development, job growth and air transport infrastructure development of all regions and states of India. At the beginning of the scheme, out of total 486 airports, 406 were participating under-serviced airports, 27 were well-served airports out of 97 non-RCS airports and 12 were operational airports out of 18 participating under-served regional operational airports with regular fixed-wing scheduled flights. UDAN scheme will add to this number by expediting the development and operationalisation of India's potential-target of nearly 425 unserved, under-served, and mostly underdeveloped regional airports with regular scheduled flights. However, there are several issues and criticisms such as poor infrastructure, dominance by larger airlines and degradation of regional airlines, slow implementation that plague this scheme.

Darbhanga Airport Domestic airport in Darbhanga,Bihar, India

Darbhanga Airport is a domestic airport and civil enclave at the Air Force Station, located in Darbhanga, Bihar, and is owned by Indian Air Force. It is located just at the outskirts of the city near the NH-105 and NH-57 East-West Corridor Expressway which passes through Darbhanga. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The foundation stone for the project was laid by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and then Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu in the presence of state Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha on 24 December 2018. Commercial flights started on 8 November 2020 and also available connecting flight for international flights.

Vykuntapuram Barrage is an Indian barrage and water storage project. It is under construction on Krishna River 23 kilometers upstream of existing Prakasam Barrage with FRL 25M. It is designed to store 10 TMC of flood water coming from the Vyra and Munneru rivers. The backwater of this dam will extend beyond Pokkunuru to the toe of Pulichintala dam. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for this project on 13 February 2019.

Janampet Barrage is a proposed barrage (dam) across Godavari River with full pond level (FPL) 67m. It would be located at Janampet village, Pinapaka, Bhadradri Kothagudem, India. This barrage was proposed as part of a proposal to link Godavari, Krishna, Penna and Cauvery rivers, which is part of Indian Rivers Interlinking Project.
