  1. City served The city generally associated with the airport is not always the actual location since some airports are located in smaller towns outside the city they serve.
  2. ICAO The location indicator assigned by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
  3. IATA The airport code assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
  4. Operator Operator of the airport. AAI, [2] HAL, GVK, [3] MIDC, [4] MADC [5] and Reliance [6] operate airports in Maharashtra.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is an international airport serving Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Bilaspur Airport, officially known as Bilasa Devi Kevat Airport is located at Chakarbhatta, 10 kilometres south of Bilaspur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Bilaspur Airport made by Royal Air Force in 1942 oldest Airport of chhattisgarh. It is owned by the Airports Authority of India. In 1980s, the airport was used by Vayudoot to provide flights to Bhopal, Nagpur, Mumbai and Delhi. Kolhapur Airport, also known as Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Airport, is a domestic airport serving the city of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. It is situated at Ujlaiwadi, 9 km (5.6 mi) southeast from the city. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

Surat International Airport, also known as Surat Gujarat Airport, is an international airport serving Surat and Southern Gujarat. It is located in Magdalla, situated 12 km (6.4 mi) from the city centre. It has a total area of 770 acres, and is the second busiest airport in Gujarat after Ahmedabad, in terms of both aircraft movements and passenger traffic. It was awarded the status of a customs airport on 9 June 2018. It is also home to a flying training school.

Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport, Nanded is a public airport located in Nanded, in the state of Maharashtra, India. It was inaugurated on 4 October 2008 by Union Aviation Minister Shri. Praful Patel and the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Vilasrao Deshmukh, with Kingfisher Airlines flying a special commemorative flight to Nanded airport using its ATR-72 turboprop aircraft.

Dhule Airport is located at Gondur area in Dhule, Maharashtra, India. This airstrip was constructed in 1974 by the Public Works Department and was transferred to the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) after its formation in 2002. The Bombay Flying Club leased the airstrip from the MADC and shifted its training operations here in 2009 to avoid the congested air-space of Mumbai.

Maharashtra is a state in western India. It is the country's second-most-populous state and third-largest state by area. Maharashtra is bordered by the Arabian Sea on the west, Gujarat and the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli on the northwest, Madhya Pradesh on the north and northeast, Chhattisgarh on the east, Karnataka on the south, Telangana on the southeast and Goa on the southwest.
