Tripura is a state in northeastern India. The third-smallest state in the country, it covers 10,491 km2 (4,051 sq mi); and the seventh-least populous state with a population of 3.67 million. It is bordered by Assam and Mizoram to the east and by Bangladesh to the north, south and west. Tripura is divided into 8 districts and 23 sub-divisions, where Agartala is the capital and the largest city in the state. Tripura has 19 different tribal communities with a majority Bengali population. Bengali, English and Kokborok are the state's official languages.
Government of Madhya Pradesh also known as the State Government of Madhya Pradesh, or locally as the Madhya Pradesh Government, is the supreme governing authority of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and its 55 districts. It consists of an executive, led by the governor of Madhya Pradesh, a judiciary and a legislative branch. In 2000, the southern portion was broken off to form the new state of Chhattisgarh with its own government.

Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil is a former Indian politician, best known as the governor of Bihar, West Bengal and Tripura. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra state.
The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The seat of the Assembly is at Shimla, the capital of the state. There are 68 Members of Legislative Assembly, all directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is 5 years, unless sooner dissolved.

Radha Krishna Mathur is a retired Indian IAS officer and Indian bureaucrat, who served as the 1st Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh from 2019 to 2023. He retired as the Chief Information Commissioner of India (CIC) in November 2018. Mathur had retired as the India's Defence Secretary, two years after being appointed to the post on 25 May 2013. He was also the Defence Production Secretary of India, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Secretary of India and the Chief Secretary of Tripura.
Jishnu Dev Varma, is an Indian politician serving as the 3rd and current Governor of Telangana since 31 July 2024. He is from Tripura, and has previously served as the 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura from 2018 to 2023. He served as the MLA of Charilam from 2018 till 2023. He was the head of the Badminton Association of India, and is currently the president of its Tripura unit.
