The territory serves an as a station for signals intelligence and is thereby part of the United Kingdom's surveillance-gathering work in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Pergamos is a Turkish Cypriot village in Larnaca District, Cyprus, 4 km north of Pyla, almost surrounded by the British Sovereign Base Area (SBA) at Dhekelia. Pergamos is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.

Zochrot is an Israeli nonprofit organization founded in 2002. Based in Tel Aviv, its aim is to promote awareness of the Palestinian Nakba ("Catastrophe"), including the 1948 Palestinian expulsion and flight. The group was co-founded by Eitan Bronstein and Norma Musih, and its current director is Rachel Beitarie. Its current slogan is "From Nakba to Return".

Kalo Chorio Kapouti is a village in Cyprus, near Morphou, and 32 km north-west of Nicosia. The village is connected to Diorios, another village to the north. De facto, it is under the control of Northern Cyprus.

Skylloura is a village located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, about halfway between the towns of Morphou and Nicosia. It is administered by the Lefkoşa District of Northern Cyprus. In the town the two main roads Morphou-Nicosia and Kyrenia-Lapithos-Skylloura meet.

Gypsou, sometimes also Gypsos, is a village located in the Famagusta District of Cyprus, near the town of Lefkoniko. It is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.

Kontemenos is a town located in the Kyrenia District of Cyprus, 7 km northwest of Skylloura. It is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.

Loutros is a small village located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, west of the town of Karavostasi. De facto, it is under the control of Northern Cyprus.

Kato Zodeia is a village on the island of Cyprus, east of Morphou. De facto, it is under the control of Northern Cyprus.

Artemi is an abandoned village in the Famagusta District of Cyprus, located 9 km north of Lefkoniko on the south side of the Kyrenia mountain range. It is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus, being a part of the Gazimağusa District.

Tavros is a village in the Famagusta District of Cyprus, located on the Karpass Peninsula. It is in the southern part of the peninsula between Bogaz and Koma Yialou (Kumyali), 1½ miles from the peninsula's south coast. It is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Administrative divisions of Nicosia</span>

Nicosia within the city limits is divided into 29 administrative units, according to the latest census. This unit is termed in English as quarter, neighbourhood, parish, enoria or mahalla. These units are: Ayios Andreas, Trypiotis, Nebethane, Tabakhane, Phaneromeni, Ayios Savvas, Omerie, Ayios Antonios, St. John, Taht-el-kale, Chrysaliniotissa, Ayios Kassianos (Kafesli), Kaïmakli, Panayia, St Constantine & Helen, Ayioi Omoloyites, Arab Ahmet, Yeni Jami, Omorfita, Ibrahim Pasha, Mahmut Pasha, Abu Kavouk, St. Luke, Abdi Chavush, Iplik Pazar and Korkut Effendi, Ayia Sophia, Haydar Pasha, Karamanzade, and Yenişehir/Neapolis. Some of these units were previously independent Communities. Ayioi Omoloyites was annexed in 1944, while Kaïmakli and Omorfita were annexed in 1968. Pallouriotissa, also annexed in 1968, was subsequently divided into the neighbourhoods of Panayia, and St Constantine & Helen.
