Mar Vista Senior High (MVH) in Imperial Beach, California, United States, is a high school established in 1951.

Contents

Mar Vista has an award-winning marine science academy called Poseidon. [3] Students spend grades 9-12 in the academy. It is frequently called "a school within a school." An NJROTC [4] program is also located on campus.

Southwest [Senior] High School (SHS), in San Diego, California, United States, is a high school established in 1975. It was built on the site of a small railroad yard owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad along the original San Diego-Tijuana line. It existed until the mid-1930s when the tracks were moved east to the present-day Trolley tracks. Part of the Sweetwater Union High School District, it serves all socioeconomic communities of San Diego, as well as some students living in Chula Vista, Imperial Beach and San Ysidro. Lutheran High School La Verne, was a private, college preparatory Lutheran High School in La Verne, California. Affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) and part of the Freelance League, the school served students from the San Gabriel, Pomona, and Inland valleys.
