The de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito is a British twin-engined, multirole combat aircraft, introduced during the Second World War. Unusual in that its airframe was constructed mostly of wood, it was nicknamed the "Wooden Wonder", or "Mossie". In 1941, it was one of the fastest operational aircraft in the world.
The AgustaWestland AW101 is a medium-lift helicopter in military and civil use. First flown in 1987, it was developed by a joint venture between Westland Helicopters in the United Kingdom and Agusta in Italy in response to national requirements for a modern naval utility helicopter. Several operators, including the armed forces of Britain, Denmark, and Portugal, use the name Merlin for their AW101 aircraft. It is manufactured at factories in Yeovil, England, and Vergiate, Italy. Licensed assembly work has also taken place in Japan and the United States.

The Jacques Range is a mountain range in the Front Ranges of the Canadian Rockies, located south of Highway 16 and Jasper Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.
The Canadair North Star is a 1940s Canadian development, for Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA), of the Douglas DC-4. Instead of radial piston engines used by the Douglas design, Canadair used Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines to achieve a higher cruising speed of 325 mph (523 km/h) compared with the 246 mph (396 km/h) of the standard DC-4. Requested by TCA in 1944, the prototype flew on 15 July 1946. The type was used by various airlines and by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). It proved to be reliable but noisy when in service through the 1950s and into the 1960s. Some examples continued to fly into the 1970s, converted to cargo aircraft.
Gråsjøen is a lake/reservoir in Surnadal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake is located in the northern part of the Trollheimen mountain range. The lake is dammed and the water is used in the Gråsjø power station. The water flows out of the lake and into the lake Foldsjøen. Mount Snota lies just south of the lake.

Mount Callaghan is a mountain east of the headwaters of the Squamish River, just northeast of the Powder Mountain Icefield and just south of the Pemberton Icefield in the Sea to Sky Country of southwestern British Columbia, Canada, about 20 km directly west of the Resort Municipality of Whistler. A crack was observed across Callaghan's summit in the spring of 1999. In 2000, a section of the summit collapsed. Callaghan Lake lies below the south face of the mountain.
Merlin is a British fantasy-adventure drama television programme, loosely based on the Arthurian legends regarding the close relations of Merlin and King Arthur. Mount Raoul Blanchard is the highest peak in the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec, Canada at 1,166 m (3,825 ft). It is located in the La Côte-de-Beaupré RCM, 64 kilometres (40 mi) north east of Quebec City and 19 kilometres (12 mi) north of Saint-Tite-des-Caps in the Réserve faunique des Laurentides.

Mount Nesselrode, also known as Boundary Peak 98, is a 2,474 m (8,117 ft) peak in the Boundary Ranges of the Coast Mountains, located on and in part defining the border between British Columbia, Canada, and Alaska, United States. About 40 miles (64 km) north of Juneau to the west of the lower Stikine River and in the heart of the Stikine Icecap in Juneau Icefield southwest of Atlin Lake, the summit, with a prominence of 924 m (3,031 ft), is also the corner point of Alaska's Haines Borough and Juneau Borough.

Jarvis Pass is a mountain pass in Kakwa Provincial Park in the Northern Rockies of British Columbia, Canada, located to the north of Kakwa Lake, on the British Columbia-Alberta boundary, and therefore is on the Continental Divide. It was one of the many passes surveyed as a route for the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1870s.
Terrapin Mountain is located southeast of Lake Magog in Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park and straddles the Continental Divide marking the Alberta-British Columbia border. It was named in 1918 for its resemblance to a turtle. A ridge extending north from the mountain terminates at Naiset Point.
