Puteri Indonesia 2012-2013, the 17th Annual Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, was held in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia on February 1, 2013. [1]
Previous edition of Puteri Indonesia was held in October 2011 and the next edition was supposed to be held on 2012, but because Miss Universe 2012 was held in December 2012 the organization decided to reschedule the event to February 2013. Thirty eight contestants from all 33 provinces of Indonesia competed for the title of Puteri Indonesia, one of the most prominent beauty pageant titles in the country. [2]
Maria Selena, Puteri Indonesia 2011 from Central Java crowned her successor Whulandary Herman from West Sumatra at the end of this event. [3] [4] The winner is going to represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2013, while the runners-up will represent the nation at the Miss International 2013, Miss Supranational 2013 and Miss Grand International 2013. The event was broadcast live on Indonesian television network, Indosiar. The winner of Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo from USA, was present during the event. [5] [6]

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia that sends its winners to represent the country at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant also sends representatives to Miss Supranational and Miss Charm pageant, by giving the Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata titles to the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
Puteri Indonesia 2010, the 15th Annual Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, was held in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia on October 8, 2010. Thirty eight contestants from all 33 provinces of Indonesia competed for the title of Puteri Indonesia, one of the most prominent beauty pageant titles in the country. Qory Sandioriva, Puteri Indonesia 2009 from Aceh crowned her successor Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames of Jakarta SCR 4 at Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Ames is going to represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil, while the first and second runners-up will represent the nation at the Miss International 2011 and the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 respectively.

Whulandary Herman is an Indonesian actress, television host, model and beauty pageant titleholder and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2013 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, where she advanced to the semifinals and placed in the Top 16, ending a 7-year drought for Indonesia. She is the second Indonesian and Sumatran to be called as Miss Universe Finalists after Artika Sari Devi who placed for the first time in Miss Universe 2005.
Cokorda Istri Krisnanda Widani is an Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Ambassador, National Narcotics Board of the Republic of Indonesia Ambassador, Balinese dancer, model, beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2013 and represented Indonesia for the first time at the Miss Supranational 2013 beauty pageant, where she won as the 3rd Runner-up at the event.

Elvira Devinamira Wirayanti is an Indonesian actress, Model, Beauty Pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2014, and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant held at the FIU Arena at the Florida, United States, where she placed in the "Top 15" and won "Best National Costume" award for the second time for Indonesia, after Agni Pratistha in 2007. She is the third Indonesian and the first Javanese to be called as Miss Universe Finalists.
Puteri Indonesia 2015, the 19th Puteri Indonesia pageant, held on February 20, 2015 at Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Elvira Devinamira, Puteri Indonesia 2014 of East Java crowned her successor Anindya Kusuma Putri of Central Java at the end of the event.
Puteri Indonesia 2016, the 20th Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on February 19, 2016 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Anindya Kusuma Putri, Puteri Indonesia 2015 of Central Java, crowned her successor Kezia Warouw of North Sulawesi at the end of the event. All 39 contestants from 34 provinces competed for the crown. The winner represented Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2016, while the runners-up competed at Miss International 2016, Miss Supranational 2016, and Miss Grand International 2016. Also Miss International 2015 Edymar Martínez of Venezuela attend at the Grand Final Show. It is traditional for Miss Universe to attend on the Final Show of Puteri Indonesia, but Miss Universe 2015 of the Philippines had fashion show scheduled in New York City at the same time, and could not attend. Miss International 2015 replaced her as special guest.
Kezia Roslin Cikita Warouw is an Indonesian National Narcotics Board of the Republic of Indonesia Ambassador, TV presenter, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Puteri Indonesia 2016. She represented Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant, and placed "Top 13", the second highest placement that an Indonesian representative has achieved. She also won "Miss Phoenix Smile" and placed as a Top 10 in Best in National Costume competition at Miss Universe 2016. She is the fifth Indonesian and the first Minahasan to be called as Miss Universe Finalists.
Puteri Indonesia 2017, the 21st Puteri Indonesia pageant was held on March 31, 2017, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Kezia Warouw, Puteri Indonesia 2016 of North Sulawesi crowned her successor Bunga Jelitha of Jakarta Special Capital Region 5 at the end of the event. All 38 contestants from 33 provinces competed for the crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017, while the runners-up will compete at the Miss International 2017, Miss Supranational 2017, and Miss Grand International 2017. Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France and Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia attend at the Grand Final Show. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada also attended the show as a judge.
Putri Indonesia 2018, the 22nd Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on March 9, 2018 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Bunga Jelitha, Puteri Indonesia 2017 of Jakarta SCR 5, crowned her successor, Sonia Fergina Citra of Bangka Belitung, at the end of the event. She defeated 38 other candidates to win the title of Miss Universe Indonesia 2018 and represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2018, where she placed as one of the Top 20 finalists.
Sonia Fergina Citra is an Indonesian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Puteri Indonesia 2018. She represented her country at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant held in at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province, north of Bangkok, Thailand. Sonia became the sixth Indonesian, third Sumatran and the second representative of Bangka Belitung to place in the semifinals in Miss Universe history.
Puteri Indonesia 2019, the 23rd Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on March 8, 2019 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Sonia Fergina Citra, Puteri Indonesia 2018 of Bangka Belitung, crowned her successor, Frederika Alexis Cull of Jakarta SCR 1, at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2019, where she placed in the Top 10, the highest placement that an Indonesian representative ever achieved.

Frederika Alexis Cull, Puteri Indonesia 2019, crowned her successor, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri of East Java at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2020, where she placed among the Top 20 finalists.
Vania Fitryanti Herlambang is a television presenter, project engineer, and fashion model who won the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2018. She represented Indonesia at the Miss International 2018 pageant in Japan, where she placed as the Top 15 semi-finalist, continuing the ongoing 3rd year placement streaks of Indonesia, consecutively since Felicia Hwang Yi Xin in 2016 and Kevin Lilliana Junaedy in 2017.
Wilda Octaviana Situngkir also popularly known as Wilda Octaviana is an Indonesian Child Protection Commission Ambassador, Indonesian National Agency of Drug and Food Control Ambassador, actress and model who won the title of Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2018. She represented Indonesia at the Miss Supranational 2018 pageant, where she placed as the 3rd runner-up, repeating the same achievement by Cokorda Istri Krisnanda Widani in Miss Supranational 2013, Wilda became the fifth Indonesian to be placed as a finalist in Miss Supranational history, continuing the ongoing 4th year placement streaks of Indonesia, consecutively since Gresya Amanda Maaliwuga in 2015, Intan Aletrinö in 2016 and Karina Nadila Niab in 2017.
Puteri Indonesia 2022, the 25th Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on 27 May 2022 at Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia 2020, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri of East Java crowned her successor, Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana of Bali at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022. Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020, Putu Ayu Saraswati of Bali and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2020, Jihane Almira Chedid of Central Java also crowned their successors, Cindy May McGuire of Jakarta SCR 5 and Adinda Cresheilla of East Java. Cresheilla represented the country at Miss Supranational 2022 where she placed 3rd runner-up, while McGuire competed at Miss International 2022 but unplaced.
Puteri Indonesia 2023, the 26th Puteri Indonesia pageant was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia 2022, Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana of Bali, crowned Farhana Nariswari Wisandana from West Java 1 as her successor at the end of the event.
