Puteri Indonesia 2010, the 15th Annual Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, was held in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia on October 8, 2010. Thirty eight contestants from all 33 provinces of Indonesia competed for the title of Puteri Indonesia, one of the most prominent beauty pageant titles in the country. Qory Sandioriva, Puteri Indonesia 2009 from Aceh crowned her successor Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames of Jakarta SCR 4 at Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Ames is going to represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil, while the first and second runners-up will represent the nation at the Miss International 2011 and the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 respectively. The event was broadcast live on Indonesian television network, Indosiar. Indonesian Minister for Female Empowerment and Child Protection, Linda Gumelar, as well as Ximena Navarrete, Miss Universe 2010, was present during the event. [4]

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant annually sends its representative to compete at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. The pageant also sends representatives for Miss Supranational, Miss Charm, and Miss Cosmo pageants.
Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames is an Indonesian actress, model, philanthropist and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2010 and represented her country in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant held at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.
Miss Earth Indonesia is a discontinued beauty pageant from Indonesia that selected Indonesian representative in the Miss Earth pageant. The Miss Earth Indonesia competition was abolished in 2021 because El John Pageant lost the franchise of Miss Earth and rebranded the pageant with Putri Bumi Indonesia. From 2022, the license holder of Miss Earth pageant is PT. All 38 contestants from 33 provinces competed for the crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017, while the runners-up will compete at the Miss International 2017, Miss Supranational 2017, and Miss Grand International 2017. Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France and Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia attend at the Grand Final Show. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada also attended the show as a judge.

She defeated 38 other candidates to win the title of Miss Universe Indonesia 2018 and represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2018, where she placed as one of the Top 20 finalists.

She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2020, where she placed among the Top 20 finalists.

Puteri Indonesia 2020, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri of East Java crowned her successor, Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana of Bali at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022. Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020, Putu Ayu Saraswati of Bali and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2020, Jihane Almira Chedid of Central Java also crowned their successors, Cindy May McGuire of Jakarta SCR 5 and Adinda Cresheilla of East Java. Cresheilla represented the country at Miss Supranational 2022 where she placed 3rd runner-up, while McGuire competed at Miss International 2022 but unplaced.
Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana, simply known as Laksmi De-Neefe Suardana, is an Australian-born Indonesian fashion designer, author, UNICEF activist, 2022 G20 Ambassador, co-founder of Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2022. Suardana is the first representative from Bali to be crowned Puteri Indonesia. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022.
Adinda Cresheilla is an Indonesian model, actress, 2022 G20 Ambassador, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2022. She is the first representative from East Java to be crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata. She represented Indonesia at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland where she placed as the 3rd Runner-up.

This marked the first time a province won back-to-back titles in the pageant's history.
