The Renault Latitude is an executive car produced by the French automaker Renault, and announced in June 2010. It debuted at the Moscow International Automobile Salon, at the end of August 2010. [4] The Latitude served as the company's flagship vehicle, [5] before it was replaced in 2016 by the Renault Talisman. [6]
The Latitude is a four-door saloon based on the Renault–Nissan D platform, and already developed as the third generation (L43) Renault Samsung SM5. [7] The Latitude was facelifted for 2015, with a new rear fascia. [8]
The Latitude is the successor to the Renault Vel Satis, which went out of production in August 2009. [9] Sales of Renault Latitude began in Asia, Australia and Eastern Europe in the autumn of 2010. In Mexico, it was launched during the first quarter of 2011 as the Renault Safrane. [10]
The European version of the Latitude, with full details of the model's equipment lists and engines ranges, was shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and sales in Western Europe began in the beginning of 2011, but not in the United Kingdom. [11] [12]
The Latitude is used as a taxi in Singapore and Macau with those sedans being made by Renault Samsung Motors and badged as Renault vehicles. [13] [14]
The vehicle was replaced alongside the Laguna by the Talisman, announced during a 2015 press conference in France. [15]

The Renault Mégane, also spelled without the acute accent as Megane, especially in languages other than French, and also known as the Renault Megavan for an LCV in Ireland, as the Renault Scala in Iran and as the Renault Mégane Grandcoupé for the saloon in Israel, Palestinian Authority and Serbia for certain generations, is a small family car produced by the French car manufacturer Renault for the 1996 model year, and was the successor to the Renault 19. The Mégane has been offered in three- and five-door hatchback, saloon, coupé, convertible and estate bodystyles at various points in its lifetime, and having been through four generations is now in its fifth incarnation.

The Renault-Nissan MR engine family consists of straight-four 16-valve all-aluminium and water cooled automobile engines with variable valve timing co-developed by Renault and Nissan. Renault calls it the M engine. Other noteworthy features of this engine family include acoustically equal runner lengths and a tumble control valve for the intake manifold, a "silent" timing chain, mirror finished crankshaft and camshaft journals, and offset cylinder placement in an attempt for increased efficiency.
The Renault Safrane is an executive car designed and built by the French manufacturer Renault from 1992 until 2000. Throughout its production it remained the most expensive and most luxurious Renault available, although its commercial success was limited, compared to some similar models and also compared to its predecessor. Just over 300,000 Safranes were built, compared to nearly 800,000 Renault 25. It was replaced by the Vel Satis, and to some extent, by the short-lived two-door Avantime.

The Renault Fluence is a compact sedan produced by the French automaker Renault. The car was produced until 2016 at the Oyak-Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey. It was produced until the end of 2018 in Santa Isabel, Argentina, for the Latin American market.
The Renault Talisman is a large family car manufactured by the French car manufacturer Renault from 2015 to 2024 over a single generation. It replaced the Renault Laguna, as well as the larger Renault Latitude, for which no direct replacement was scheduled. It was produced by Renault's Douai Renault Factory from 2015 to 2022 and its South Korean subsidiary Renault Korea from 2016 to 2024, where it was marketed as the Renault SM6.

The Renault Symbol, Clio or Thalia in some markets, is a subcompact sedan produced by the French automobile manufacturer Renault. It was introduced in late 1999, under the Clio Symbol name, as the derivative version of the second generation Renault Clio, and unlike the hatchback it was marketed only in those countries where saloons were traditionally preferred over hatchbacks, while it was not sold in Western Europe. It was actually sold in France, but only in overseas departments/regions.
