Wythenshawe Hospital is a proposed tram stop in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester. It would serve the hospital with the same name. It has been proposed since the early 2000s but was dropped in 2005 from the Manchester Airport Line on cost grounds. [1]

Many of the services and facilities previously at Withington Hospital were transferred to Wythenshawe in 2004. It provided services for adults and children at Wythenshawe Hospital and Withington Community Hospital. It runs Buccleuch Lodge Intermediate Care Unit and the Dermot Murphy Centre in Withington, and the Specialised Ability Centre in Sharston.

Woodhouse Park tram stop was a proposed Metrolink tram stop on the phase 3b plans to Manchester Airport. It was due to open in 2016 but was dropped from plans. The tram stop would have served the Woodhouse Park area of Wythenshawe in Greater Manchester.

For a brief period during construction, it appeared the stop would simply be named "Robinswood". Its up and down platforms are staggered and not opposite each other.

Northern Moor is an area of Manchester, England, west of Northenden and east of Sale, 5 miles south of Manchester city centre. The Tatton family lived from 1540 to 1926 at Wythenshawe Hall, which is in Northern Moor; land around it is now Wythenshawe Park, which was a deer park from 1200 to 1540. In former centuries its name was spelled "Northen Moor" and meant "the moor area belonging to Northenden". Until the early 1900s Northern Moor was part of Cheshire, before Manchester expanded south of the River Mersey and the borders of Cheshire changed. Northern Moor and Northenden following the border changes has been part of Manchester instead of Cheshire. The current area called 'Northern Moor' now includes Lawton Moor, and the border of Northern Moor is now at the Sale moor border.

Manchester Airport High Speed Station is a planned High Speed 2 station at Manchester Airport, on the southern boundary of Manchester, England, next to Junction 5 of the M56 motorway on the northern side of the airport 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-west of Manchester Airport railway station. Manchester Airport is the busiest airport in the UK outside London and offers more destinations than any other British airport. An airport station was recommended by local authorities during the consultation stage. The government agreed in January 2013 for an airport station, but only on the basis that private investment was involved, such as funding from the Manchester Airports Group to build the station. The government approved the scheme in November 2016.
