The 2025 Meridian mayoral election was held on June 3, 2025 to elect the next mayor of Meridian, Mississippi. Incumbent Democratic mayor Jimmie Smith was eligible to run for re-election to a second term, but lost the Democratic primary to former mayor Percy Bland in a rematch of 2021. Primary elections were held on April 1. Because Bland secured over 50% of the vote in the primary, a runoff was not needed. On February 7, Republican nominee Derik Boler withdrew his candidacy, leaving Bland and independent Jimmy Copeland as the only general election candidates. Bland narrowly defeated Copeland with 50.78% of the vote, a margin of 98 votes, winning a third non-consecutive term as mayor.
