The 2025 Annapolis mayoral election will be held on November 4, 2025, to elect the mayor of Annapolis, Maryland. Incumbent Democratic mayor Gavin Buckley, who was re-elected to a second term with 72.7 percent of the vote in 2021, is ineligible to run for re-election to a third term due to term limits. Democratic and Republican primary elections will be held on September 16, 2025.

Dodon, is a 550-acre (2.2 km2) farm and former forced-labor tobacco plantation near Davidsonville, Maryland, located near the South River about 10 miles (16 km) south west of Annapolis. Purchased in 1747 by the planter and politician Dr George H. Steuart, it remains the home of Steuart's descendants to this day. Steuart grew wealthy during the colonial era thanks to proprietorial patronage and the forced labor of enslaved people.

Joshua Jackson "Josh" Cohen is an American Democratic politician and former mayor of Annapolis, Maryland. Cohen, a Democrat, gained 46.5 percent of the vote to defeat Republican nominee David Cordle and independent candidate Chris Fox in the 2009 mayoral election. Cohen, who served previously on the Anne Arundel County Council and the Annapolis City Council, succeeded Ellen Moyer as Annapolis' chief executive on Dec. 7, 2009.
