Bond Glacier ( 66°58′S109°0′E / 66.967°S 109.000°E / -66.967; 109.000 Coordinates: 66°58′S109°0′E / 66.967°S 109.000°E / -66.967; 109.000 ) is a steep, heavily crevassed glacier to the west of Ivanoff Head, flowing from the continental ice to Blunt Cove at the head of Vincennes Bay. It was mapped from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1946–47), and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Captain Charles A. Bond, U.S. Navy, commander of the expedition's Western Group.

The Deep Freeze Range is a rugged mountain range, over 128 km (80 mi) long and about 16 km (10 mi) wide, rising between Priestley and Campbell glaciers in Victoria Land, Antarctica, and extending from the edge of the polar plateau to Terra Nova Bay. Peaks in the low and mid portions of the range were observed by early British expeditions to the Ross Sea.

Borchgrevink Glacier is a large glacier in the Victory Mountains, Victoria Land, draining south between Malta Plateau and Daniell Peninsula, and thence projecting into Glacier Strait, Ross Sea, as a floating glacier tongue, the Borchgrevink Glacier Tongue, just south of Cape Jones. It was named by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1957–58, for Carsten Borchgrevink, leader of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1898–1900. Borchgrevink visited the area in February 1900 and first observed the seaward portion of the glacier.

Underwood Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Underwood Glacier is a channel glacier in Wilkes Land, Antarctica about 15 nautical miles long, flowing to the Antarctic coast between Reist Rocks and Cape Nutt. It was mapped in 1955 by G. D. Blodgett from aerial photographs taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump in 1947 and named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Lieutenant Thomas Joseph Underwood, Jr., USMC, who served on the sloop Vincennes of the United States Exploring Expedition (1838–42) under Lieutenant Charles Wilkes.

Jacobsen Glacier is a glacier flowing east-northeast from Mount Reid, in the Holland Range, Antarctica, into the Ross Ice Shelf. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from Tellurometer surveys (1961–62) and Navy air photos (1960), and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for H. Jacobsen, Master of the USNS Chattahoochee during U.S. Navy Operation Deep Freeze 1964 and 1965.

Explorers Range is a large mountain range in the Bowers Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica, extending from Mount Bruce in the north to Carryer Glacier and McLin Glacier in the south. Named by the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee (NZ-APC) for the northern party of New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1963–64, whose members carried out a topographical and geological survey of the area. The names of several party members are assigned to features in and about this range. All of the geographical features listed below lie situated on the Pennell Coast, a portion of Antarctica lying between Cape Williams and Cape Adare.

Adams Glacier (Wilkes Land) glacier in Antarctica

Adams Glacier, also known as John Quincy Adams Glacier, is a broad channel glacier in Wilkes Land, Antarctica which is over 20 miles (32 km) long. It debouches into the head of Vincennes Bay, just east of Hatch Islands. It was first mapped in 1955 by G.D. Blodgett from aerial photographs taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1947), and it was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for John Quincy Adams, sixth President of the United States. Adams was instrumental while later serving as U.S. representative from Massachusetts in gaining congressional authorization of the United States Exploring Expedition (1838–42) under Lieutenant Charles Wilkes, and perpetuating the compilation and publication of the large number of scientific reports based on the work of this expedition.

Alice Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Alice Glacier is a 13-nautical-mile (24 km) long tributary glacier in East Antarctica. It flows east from the Queen Alexandra Range to enter Beardmore Glacier at Sirohi Point. It was discovered by the British Antarctic Expedition, 1907–09, under Ernest Shackleton, and was named for the mother of Eric Marshall, a member of Shackleton's South Polar Party.

Breitfuss Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Breitfuss Glacier is a glacier 10 nautical miles (19 km) long, which flows southeast from Avery Plateau into Mill Inlet to the west of Cape Chavanne, on the east coast of Graham Land. It was charted by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) and photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition in 1947. It was named by the FIDS for Leonid Breitfuss, a German polar explorer, historian, and author of many polar bibliographies.

Collins Peak is a small but noteworthy peak, 1,810 metres (5,940 ft) high, at the east side of Malta Plateau, on the end of the ridge overlooking the confluence of Hand Glacier and Line Glacier, in the Victory Mountains, Victoria Land. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and from U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–64, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Eric J. Collins, biologist at Hallett Station, 1965–66.

Coulston Glacier is a small tributary glacier flowing south from the Cartographers Range into Trafalgar Glacier, 10 nautical miles (19 km) west of Bypass Hill, in the Victory Mountains of Victoria Land. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and from U.S. Navy air photos 1960–64, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Peter W. Coulston, an aviation electronics technician with U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6 at McMurdo Station, 1967.

Plummer Glacier is a short glacier descending east through the Enterprise Hills to the north of Lippert Peak and the Douglas Peaks, in the Heritage Range in Antarctica. Plummer, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) glaciologist at Palmer Station in 1965.

Ellis Glacier is a glacier, 4 nautical miles (7 km) long, flowing north from Mount Walnum between Gillock Glacier and Jennings Glacier in the Sør Rondane Mountains of Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47, and named for Edwin E. Ellis, aerial photographer on Operation Highjump photographic flights in this area and other coastal areas between 14°E and 164°E.

Pavlak Glacier is a glacier that drains east from the Queen Elizabeth Range into Lowery Glacier close south of Mount Predoehl. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Thomas L. Pavlak, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) glaciologist at South Pole Station, 1962-63.

Fischer Ridge is an ice-covered ridge trending northwest–southeast between Kirk Glacier and Ironside Glacier in the Admiralty Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–63, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for William H. Fischer, an Atmospheric Chemist at McMurdo Station, 1966–67.

Glenzer Glacier glacier in Antarctica

Glenzer Glacier is a glacier 5 nautical miles (9 km) west of Conger Glacier, draining northward from Knox Coast into the eastern part of the Shackleton Ice Shelf, Antarctica. It was mapped by G.D. Blodgett (1955) from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1946–47). It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Lieutenant Hubert Glenzer, Jr., a pilot with U.S. Navy Operation Windmill (1947–48), who assisted in operations resulting in the establishment of astronomical control stations along the coast from Wilhelm II Coast to Budd Coast.

McElroy Glacier is a tributary glacier just west of Matthews Ridge on Tapsell Foreland, Victoria Land, Antarctica, draining south to join Barnett Glacier. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–63, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Clifford T. McElroy, a United States Antarctic Research Program geologist at McMurdo Station, 1964–65 and 1966–67.

Mefjell Glacier is a glacier, 5 nautical miles (9 km) long, flowing northwest into Gjel Glacier between Menipa Peak and Mefjell Mountain in the Sør Rondane Mountains of Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47, and named Mefjellbreen.

Mackay Glacier is a large glacier in Victoria Land, descending eastward from the Antarctic polar plateau, between the Convoy Range and Clare Range, into the southern part of Granite Harbour. It was discovered by the South Magnetic Pole party of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1907–09, and named for Alistair F. Mackay, a member of the party.

Squires Glacier is a tributary glacier between the Playfair and Hutton Mountains, flowing east-northeast to Swann Glacier, in Palmer Land. Hoinkes Peak is a sharp rock peak, 1,840 metres (6,040 ft) high, standing at the head of Henderson Glacier, where it forms part of the west wall of the glacier, in the Heritage Range, Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos from 1961–66, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Herfried C. Hoinkes, a meteorologist at Little America V Station in 1957.
