Buaraba is a rural locality in the Somerset Region, Queensland, Australia. [2] In the 2021 census, Buaraba had a population of 170 people. [1]
Buaraba Creek flows through from west to south-east. Most of Ravensbourne National Park is within the locality. [3]
The Esk-Hampton Road (State Route 85) runs along the north-western boundary, and the Gatton Esk Road passes through the eastern part.
Buaraba Provisional School opened on 1922. In January 1936, it became Buaraba State School. It closed in 1966. [4] The school was at 421 Buaraba Creek Road ( 27°21′47″S152°19′16″E / 27.3631°S 152.32112°E ). [5] [6] The school building is still extant. [7]

The Brisbane Valley Highway is a state highway in Queensland, Australia. It links the Warrego Highway near Ipswich and the D'Aguilar Highway about 4 km (2 mi) north of Harlin.
