Forum Kochi is a premium shopping mall located in Maradu in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. The Mall is promoted by one of the India's Top builders and Real Estate Devolopers in Bangalore, the Prestige Group. Spanning over 10 acres of land, the mall has a total built up area of 1,036,135 sq ft and total retail space of 639,606 sq ft. [2]
The mall is the second-largest in the city in terms of retail space. The mall started its construction in April 2011 with the support of Thomsun Group. [3] [1] The mall opened for the public on 19 August 2023. [4]
The mall has seven anchor brands: Lulu Hypermarket, PVR Luxe, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Fun city, Lifestyle, and Shoppers Stop. International brands like Lacoste, Bath & Body Works, Under Armour, and Beverly Hills Polo Club, [Superdry]], Armani Exchange, and Calvin Klein are also located in the mall. There are 21 food & beverage outlets and an 850-seat food court in the second floor of the mall. [1]
Forum Kochi has a PVR [PXL] screen with nine screens. The venue frequently hosts major star visits and film promotions. A 39-room hotel space with swimming pool is also being developed in collaboration with Marriott International inside the mall.[ citation needed ]
Forum Kochi has been a venue for promotions of major films, including Kamal Hassan's Thuglife, Mohanlal's Barroz , Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran , Vijay Sethupathi's Maharaja , and Tovino Thomas' ARM . The first movie promotion at Forum Kochi was for Prithviraj’s Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil .[ citation needed ]
