Holmes Reservation

Holmes Reservation is a conservation parcel located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. During the American Revolution, the land was used as a muster ground for the Plymouth militia. The property is owned by The Trustees of Reservations, starting with a donation, with endowment, by the Holmes family (descendants of John Holmes, an early settler of Plymouth and Messenger of the Court there) in 1944. Town Brook (Massachusetts)

Town Brook is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) stream in Plymouth, Massachusetts that provided drinking water to the Pilgrims who made their homes adjacent to the brook on Leyden Street in Plymouth. Town Brook's headwaters are the Billington Sea, a 269-acre (109 ha) freshwater pond. The brook passes through numerous small ponds, including Deep Water Pond and Jenny Pond. It also passes by the Plimoth Grist Mill and the Brewster Gardens before emptying into Plymouth Harbor. A nature trail runs along the entire length of the brook.

Lowell Holly Reservation

The Lowell Holly Reservation is a 135-acre (0.55 km2) nature reserve in Mashpee and Sandwich, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations. The area was extensively planted by Abbot Lawrence Lowell and Wilfred Wheeler with rhododendrons, mountain laurel and holly trees, for which the reservation gets its name. There are 4 miles (6.4 km) of hiking trails and two peninsular knolls that jut into Mashpee Pond and Wakeby Pond. Abbot Lawrence Lowell bequeathed the property to the Trustees of Reservations in 1943.

The Lyman Reserve is a 210-acre (0.85 km2) nature reserve in Bourne, Plymouth and Wareham, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations. There are 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of hiking trails, a beach and is in proximity to the Red Brook Reserve and Red Brook Wildlife Management Area. The area was formerly as private fishing camp, which sits at the mouth of Red Brook at Buttermilk Bay. It is home to one of the last remaining groups of sea-run brook trout ("salters") in the Eastern United States.

Appleton Farms

Appleton Farms is a park in Ipswich, Massachusetts, owned and maintained by The Trustees of Reservations. The property was deeded to the Trustees in 1998.The land was granted to Samuel Appleton in 1638 by the town of Ipswich and is one of the oldest continuously operating farms in Massachusetts. In 2002, The Trustees of Reservations established a vegetable Community Supported Agriculture Program.

Stavros Reservation

Stavros Reservation is a nature reserve located in Essex, Massachusetts. The property is owned by The Trustees of Reservations through a 1952 gift and a 1955 purchase. Most of the approximately 50-acre (20 ha) reservation consists of salt marsh. The property encompasses Whites Hill, which includes fine views of the Massachusetts coast.
