The long-billed honeyeater (Melilestes megarhynchus) is a species of bird in the family Meliphagidae. It is monotypic within the genus Melilestes. [2]
It is found in New Guinea and offshore islands, [1] where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. [1] Long-billed honeyeaters do not migrate [1] . The average generation length of it is 5.8 years. [1]
