Upper Ottawa Street is a Hamilton Mountain arterial road in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It starts off at Mountain Brow Boulevard in the north and extends southward where it ends just past Rymal Road at the South Hamilton Industrial Park. It is a two-way street throughout. Upper Ottawa Street starts at roughly the point where its lower counterpart Ottawa Street finishes just below the Escarpment and was originally labelled without the "upper" prefix.
Upper Ottawa Street is named for its approximate alignment with Ottawa Street in the lower city in Hamilton. In actuality, it is aligned with Balmoral Avenue South, which runs from Lawrence Road to Barton Street East.
