The 2012 Gosport Council election was held on 3 May 2012 to elect members of the Gosport Council in England. [1] This was the same day as other 2012 United Kingdom local elections. [2] The Conservatives gained three seats from the Liberal Democrats, whilst Labour gained one seat each from the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats. Both Labour and the Conservatives saw an increased vote share, whilst the Liberal Democrats' vote share fell.

This reduced the Conservative Majority to one, remaining in control of the council, whilst UKIP lost their sole seat, in the Rowner and Holbrook ward.

The 2024 Gosport Borough Council election is scheduled to be held on Thursday 2 May 2024, alongside the other local elections in the United Kingdom being held on the same day. One-half of the 28 members of Gosport Borough Council in Hampshire will be elected, as well as a vacancy in Lee West ward.
