Capital Airport Holdings Limited (CAH) is a wholly owned entity of the Civil Aviation Administration of China which operates airports. It is the parent company of Beijing Capital International Airport,the operator of the airport of the same name.
The history of Capital Airport Holding dates back to June 13,1988 when CAAC Beijing Administration was split into three parts:CAAC North China Regional Administration,Air China and Beijing Capital International Airport.
The current Capital Airport Holding was established on December 28,2002 from the merger of Beijing Capital Airport Holding Company,Beijing Capital International Airport Company Ltd.,Tianjin Binhai International Airport,China Airport Construction Corporation,Jinfei Economic Development Company Ltd. and Civil Aviation Engineering Consulting Company of China. CAH operates 40 wholly owned or holding companies in the group with assets of more than ¥100 billion yuan and around 38,000 staff members.
These comprise over 40 airports in nine provinces (municipality directly under the Central Government,autonomous region) including Beijing,Tianjin,Jiangxi,Hubei,Chongqing,Guizhou,Jilin,Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang.
The group also has investments in Shenyang and Dalian Airports. The company controls 30% of passenger throughput in the national civil aviation market. [1]
Beijing Capital International Airport is one of two international airports serving Beijing,the other one being Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX). It is located 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Beijing's city center,in an exclave of Chaoyang District and the surroundings of that exclave in suburban Shunyi District. The airport is owned and operated by the Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited,a state-controlled company. The airport's IATA Airport code,PEK,is based on the city's former romanized name,Peking.

Orient Thai Airlines Co.,Ltd. was a Thai airline with its head office in Khlong Toei,Bangkok. It operated charter and scheduled services in Southeast Asia and was based at Don Mueang International Airport. On October 9,2018,the airline ceased all operations.
China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited,also known as China Eastern,is an airline headquartered in the China Eastern Airlines Building,on the grounds of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport in Changning District,Shanghai. Hainan Airlines Co.,Ltd. is an airline headquartered in Haikou,Hainan,People's Republic of China. The airline is rated as a 5-star airline by Skytrax. It is the largest civilian-run and majority state-owned air transport company,making it the fourth-largest airline in terms of fleet size in the People's Republic of China,and tenth-largest airline in Asia in terms of passengers carried. It operates scheduled domestic and international services on 500 routes from Hainan and nine locations on the mainland,as well as charter services. Its main base is Haikou Meilan International Airport,with hubs at Beijing Capital International Airport and Xi'an Xianyang International Airport and several focus cities.

Beijing Daxing International Airport,is one of two international airports serving Beijing,the other one being Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). It is located on the border of Beijing and Langfang,Hebei Province. It has been nicknamed "the starfish." It was completed on 30 June 2019,and began operations on 26 September 2019.
Tianjin Airlines Flight 7554 was a scheduled passenger flight between Hotan and Ürümqi in China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The aircraft operating this route on 29 June 2012,an Embraer 190,took off from Hotan at 12:25 pm;within ten minutes,six ethnic Uyghur men,one of whom allegedly professed his motivation as jihad,announced their intent to hijack the aircraft,according to multiple witnesses. In response,passengers and crew resisted and successfully restrained the hijackers,who were armed with aluminium crutches and explosives.

CAAC Airlines,formerly the People's Aviation Company of China (中國人民航空公司),was the airline division of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the monopoly civil airline in the People's Republic of China. It was founded on 17 July 1952,and merged into CAAC on 9 June 1953. In 1988,the monopoly was broken up and CAAC Airlines was split into six regional airlines,which later consolidated into China's Big Three airlines:Beijing-based Air China,Guangzhou-based China Southern Airlines,and Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines.
Tianjin Air Cargo Co.,Ltd.,operating as Tianjin Air Cargo,is a cargo airline in China founded by HNA Group and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. The airline received an air operator's certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in mid-2018,with services commencing in September that year. It operates out of Tianjin Binhai International Airport with a fleet of Boeing 737 freighters,with plans to expand its fleet size to between 50 and 100 aircraft and launch intercontinental freighter routes in the future.
