The airport is located on the southern shore of Qiantang River in Xiaoshan District and is 27 km (17 mi) east of downtown Hangzhou. Architecture firm Aedas designed Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.

The airport is located approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) northeast of the city center and immediately to the north of the Yaoqiang Subdistrict (遥墙街道) after which the airport is named. By road, the airport is connected to the Jinan Ring (济南绕城高速公路), Beijing–Shanghai, and Qingdao–Yinchuan Expressways.

It is located in the town of Xingdong in Tongzhou District, 9.8 kilometres (6.1 mi) northeast of Nantong and 120 km (75 mi) from Shanghai. Construction started in 1990 and flights commenced in 1993. In 2016 the airport handled 1,538,158 passengers and 35,371.1 tons of cargo.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Yinchuan Hedong International Airport</span> Airport in Lingwu, Ningxia

Yinchuan Hedong International Airport is the primary airport serving Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China. It is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of downtown Yinchuan in the town of Linghe of Lingwu City. A relatively small airport compared to many airports in China, it nevertheless is the autonomous region's main aviation gateway. Its name "Hedong" literally means "East of the River" and derives from the airport's location east of the Yellow River. It is connected to over 20 cities by either direct flights, or transferring in Xi'an and Beijing. The terminal building covers a total area of 15,000 square metres (160,000 sq ft). The airport handled 10,575,393 passengers in 2019, making it the 38th busiest airport in China.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport</span> Airport serving Jieyang, Guangdong, China

Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport is an international airport serving the cities of Jieyang, Shantou, Chaozhou and nearby areas in eastern Guangdong province of South Central China. It is located in the towns of Paotai and Denggang in Jiedong District, Jieyang, Guangdong. It was part of a relocation plan from the original Shantou Waisha Airport, and the site was chosen to be near the geographic center of Jieyang, Shantou, and Chaozhou. The airport was put into service on 15 December 2011, with the simultaneous shut-down of Shantou Waisha Airport as a commercial airport.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway</span> Railway line in China

The Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway or Jingxiong intercity railway is a high-speed rail that connects Beijing and Xiong'an.

Huairou–Daxing intercity railway, formerly known as Capital Airport–Daxing Airport intercity railway connecting line, is a higher-speed railway line currently under construction. The speed will be 200 km/h. It will connect the Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport when the full line is completed.
