Tonghua Sanyuanpu Airport [lower-alpha 1] ( IATA : TNH, ICAO : ZYTN), also known as Tonghua Liuhe Airport, is a dual-use military and civilian airport serving the city of Tonghua in Jilin Province, China. It is located in the town of Sanyuanpu in Liuhe County, 50 kilometers from the city center. Originally a military airport, construction to convert it to civilian use started in October 2009 with a total investment of 370 million yuan. [2] It was opened on 18 June 2014, becoming the fifth civilian airport in Jilin. [3]

The airport has a runway that is 2,300 meters long and 45 meters wide, and a 3,000 square meter terminal building. It is designed to handle 194,000 passengers annually by 2020. [2]

Quzhou Airport, also called Quzhou Air Base is a dual-use military and civil airport located 2.9 kilometers east of the city of Quzhou in Zhejiang Province, China. Originally only a military airfield for the People's Liberation Army Air Force, the airport was first expanded for use by American bombers during World War II, and was later occupied by Japanese troops. A small passenger terminal opened to commercial flights on 26 November 1993, though expanded commercial use of the airport has been hampered by continued heavy military presence due to the airport's proximity to the East China Sea and Taiwan Strait. Airlines operating out of Quzhou Airport generally operate medium to large narrow-body aircraft, such as the Boeing 737. Nanyang Jiangying Airport is an airport serving the city of Nanyang in Henan Province, China. It is located near Jiangying, in Wancheng District, 12 km (7.5 mi) east of the city center. The airport was opened in October 1992 and expanded in 1998. It is currently undergoing another phase of expansion.

Luzhou Yunlong Airport is a dual-use military and civilian airport in the city of Luzhou in China's Sichuan province. Preparatory work for the airport began in October 2013 with a total investment of 2.77 billion yuan, while construction officially started on 5 November 2016. The airport was opened on 10 September 2018 with the inaugural Colorful Guizhou Airlines flight from Guiyang, and all flights were transferred from the old Luzhou Lantian Airport.

Songyuan Chaganhu Airport is an airport serving the city of Songyuan in Northeast China's Jilin Province. It is located in Chaganhu Village in Qian Gorlos Mongol Autonomous County, 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the city center, and 27 kilometres (17 mi) from Chagan Lake (Chaganhu) nature reserve. The airport received approval from the central government in September 2014. The total investment is 1.15 billion yuan. It was opened on 29 October 2017 with an inaugural Air China flight to Beijing.

The Tonghua incident was a mass killing of rebelling Japanese soldiers that occurred on 3 February 1946 in southern Jilin, China.
