The High Court of Bombay is the high court of the states of Maharashtra and Goa in India, and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is seated primarily at Mumbai, and is one of the oldest high courts in India. The High Court has circuit benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Panaji, the capital of Goa.
The chief justice of India is the highest-ranking officer of the Indian judiciary and the chief judge of the Supreme Court of India. The Constitution of India grants power to the president of India to appoint, as recommended by outgoing chief justice in consultation with other judges as envisaged in Article 124 (2) of the Constitution, the next chief justice, who will serve until they reach the age of 65 or are removed by the constitutional process of impeachment.

The Sikkim High Court is the High Court of the Indian state of Sikkim. The history of the court can be traced back to 1955, when the High Court of Judicature Proclamation, 1955 was issued to establish a High Court in Sikkim. Upon merger, Sikkim became the 22nd State of India. Under Clause (i) of Article 371F, the High Court functioning immediately prior to the date of merger became the High Court for the State of Sikkim under the Constitution like any other High Court in the country. It was established in 1975.

Vikramajit Sen is an Indian Judge, who has served as a sitting judge of the Supreme Court of India from 2012 to 2015. He has also served as the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court from 2011 to 2012. From May 2019 to May 2022, he served as the chairman of the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Narayan Dutta Ojha was an Indian judge and politician. He served as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in January 1987. He was the acting Governor of Madhya Pradesh in December 1987. He was earlier the Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court from August to September 1986. Later he became a judge of the Supreme Court of India in January 1988 and retired in January 1991. Ojha is deceased.
Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale is the ex-Judicial Member of Lokpal Committee. He is the former Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. He has also served as Acting Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court and as a Judge of Hyderabad High Court, Karnataka High Court and Bombay High Court.
Sudhanshu Dhulia is a judge of the Supreme Court of India. He is former chief justice of the Gauhati High Court and judge of the Uttarakhand High Court.
Ashok Abhaiendra Desai was a former judge of the Bombay High Court and the Allahabad High Court. He also served as the first chief justice of the Uttarakhand High Court between 2000 and 2003.
