Below is a list of newspapers in the Netherlands.

Newspapers in the Netherlands are issued every day, with the exception of Sunday and some general holidays. The total number of printed daily newspapers is 28 in 2018, down from 35 in 2009. [1] Of the 27 dailies in 2019, 10 are national, 16 regional and 1 local. Some of the regional newspapers offer editions for smaller regions, as does the national Algemeen Dagblad for its readers in South Holland and Utrecht.

The number of national daily newspapers in the Netherlands was 108 in 1950, 38 in 1965, [2] 10 in the 2010s, 9 since March 2020, and 8 since March 2021.

ASWH, short for Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. It won section championships in 1949, 1959, 1961, 1970, 1883, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2005. In 2005 ASWH also won the Dutch Championship of Amateur Soccer and the Dutch Championship of Saturday Soccer. Ascending gradually through the ranks, ASWH played 2019–2022 in the semi-professional Tweede Divisie. In 2023, it joined the Vierde Divisie, after relegating twice for the first time in the club's history. In 2023–2024, ASWH operates 70 teams in competitions.

Brabants Dagblad is a daily Dutch newspaper. It is distributed in the center and northeast of North Brabant, in 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg and their surrounding regions. The paper's office is in 's-Hertogenbosch.

The Provinciale Zeeuwse Courant is a newspaper for the province of Zeeland, Netherlands published and owned by DPG Media of Belgium. Founded in 1758, it is the third-oldest newspaper of the Netherlands.

De Limburger is a Dutch newspaper covering the province of Limburg. The Limburgs Dagblad merged into De Limburger at the end 2017. Both newspapers were owned by Mediahuis. Dagblad De Limburger, the previous name of De Limburger, was founded after a merger of Dagblad voor Noord-Limburg and De Limburger.

<i>Nieuwsblad van het Noorden</i> Dutch newspaper

The Nieuwsblad van het Noorden is a former regional daily newspaper from the city of Groningen in the Netherlands. It was published from 1888 to 2002, when it was merged with the Groninger Dagblad and the Drentse Courant into the Dagblad van het Noorden, which published its first edition on 2 April 2002.

<i>Provinciale Drentsche en Asser Courant</i> Dutch newspaper

The Provinciale Drentsche en Asser Courant was a regional newspaper in Drenthe, Netherlands, published in Assen from 1851 to 1966. It was a continuation of the Nieuws- en Advertentieblad voor de Provincie Drenthe (1823–1826) and Drentsche Courant (1826–1851). It was continued as the Drentse en Asser Courant (1966–1992) and Drentse Courant (1992–2002). In 2002 the Drentse Courant merged into the Dagblad van het Noorden, a shared newspaper for readers in the provinces Groningen and Drenthe.

IJmuider Courant is a Dutch newspaper oriented towards the city of IJmuiden and surrounding region. The paper is published by Mediahuis and had a circulation of 5,500 copies in 2014.

Teunis (Teun) Jacob was a Dutch wall painter and sculptor, who lived and worked in Rotterdam since the early 1950s. He made both figure and nonrepresentational art.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">VV Goes</span> Association football club in Goes, Netherlands

VV Goes is a football club from Goes, Zeeland, Netherlands. In the 1911–1912 season Goes played in the second tier of Dutch football. Over the years Goes played mostly in the Tweede and Derde Klasse. In the national 1934–35 KNVB Cup Goes started and lost third round against VV Terneuzen (2–0). It was booted first round in 1957–58 by NOAD (2–4) and in 2011–12 by Zwaluwen Vlaardingen (1–5). Since the 1990s Goes played at times in the Eerste Klasse. In 2017 the club promoted and began its third season in the Hoofdklasse, where it has previous played from 2012 to 2014.
