This list of tallest buildings in Minnesota ranks skyscrapers in the state of Minnesota by tallest height of high rise. This does not include antennas, although the tallest overall man-made structure in Minnesota is the KPXM-TV Tower in Big Lake. It is also the 212th tallest structure in the United States. The majority of the tallest buildings in Minnesota are in Minneapolis, the largest city in the state by population. Other cities that have some of the state's tallest buildings include the state capital of St. Paul (14), South St. Paul (1), Rochester (11), Golden Valley (4), St. Louis Park (7), Plymouth (1), Duluth (6), Brooklyn Center (1), St. Cloud (2), Edina (9), Maplewood (1), Robbinsdale (1), Eden Prairie (4), Moorhead (2), Richfield (4), Eagan (2), and Bloomington (15). Not all buildings in Minneapolis and St. Paul are listed, due to the large number of skyscrapers and high rises in both cities.

Minneapolis–Saint Paul is a metropolitan area in the Upper Midwestern United States centered around the confluence of the Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix rivers in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is commonly known as the Twin Cities after the area's two largest cities, Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Minnesotans often refer to the two together simply as "The Cities". The area is Minnesota's economic, cultural, and political center.
Interstate 494 (I-494) is an auxiliary Interstate Highway making up part of a beltway of I-94, circling through the southern and western portions of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area in Minnesota. The 42.94-mile (69.11 km) road is coupled with I-694 at each end and composes more than half of the major beltway of the region. I-694/I-494 also act as loop routes for I-35E and I-35W.

The Wells Fargo Center, formerly known as Norwest Center, is the third-tallest building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after the IDS Center and the Capella Tower. Completed in 1988, it is 774 feet (236 m) tall. For many years, this was believed to be one foot shorter than Capella, but that structure actually had a different height. Norwest Center was designed with a modernized art deco style by César Pelli, reflecting nearby structures such as the nearby CenturyLink Building and the Foshay Tower, which is several blocks away. It is also considered by many to be a homage to 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
