Busby Islet Conservation Park is a protected area located on Busby Islet in Nepean Bay on the north coast of Kangaroo Island in South Australia. The conservation park is located about 2 kilometres north of the town of Kingscote and occupies an area of 17 hectares on Busby Islet. It was dedicated in 1967 for 'the conservation of wildlife habitat' replacing previous statutory protection dating back to 1909. A management philosophy for the park published in 1987 supports the need to 'ensure the conservation, in perpetuity, of the natural environment, in particular the breeding habitat for birds of the ocean and seashore'. The conservation park is reported as supporting breeding populations of Australian pelicans, black-faced and pied cormorants, pied and sooty oystercatchers, and silver and Pacific gulls, serving as a roost site for migratory waders and being a place visited by Rock parrots and little grassbirds. The conservation park was declared as a 'no entry' area in October 2014. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category Ia protected area.

Cape Blanche Conservation Park is a protected area located on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula in South Australia about 25 kilometres south of Streaky Bay. It was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 2012 for the purpose of protecting ‘important breeding habitat for the eastern osprey and white-bellied sea-eagle ’ and ‘diverse range of flora’ including ‘the West Coast mintbush ,’ and to provide ‘provide important habitat for threatened shorebirds and migratory birds, including the hooded plover, sooty oystercatcher(Haematopus fuliginosus) and sanderling .’ The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area.
Bucks Lake Game Reserve, formerly the Bucks Lake National Park, is a protected area located in the Limestone Coast of South Australia about 40 kilometres south-west of Mount Gambier and immediately east of the township of Carpenter Rocks. The game reserve was originally created as the Bucks Lake National Park in 1968 under the National Parks Act 1966 and was re-proclaimed as a game reserve under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 for the purpose of the conservation of wildlife and management of game. The game reserve is used for duck hunting with species being harvested including grey teal, chestnut teal, Pacific black duck, pink-eared duck and Australian shelduck. Hunting is conducted during a proclaimed open season with hunters requiring to have an ‘endorsed hunting permit’ and only to harvest maximum numbers of specific species.

The conservation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 1997 ‘to protect the endangered plant species, Sand Ixodia’. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category VI protected area.

Lake Robe Game Reserve is a protected area located about 6 kilometres south of the town of Robe in South Australia. It covers the saline lake, Lake Robe, and some surrounding land and also immediately adjoins the northern boundary of the Little Dip Conservation Park. It was proclaimed on 4 November 1993 to protect "valuable habitats for a variety of waterbirds, and terrestrial mammals notably the hooded plover, sharp-tailed sandpiper, and the swamp rat " and to manage recreational duck hunting activity. The area is classified as an IUCN Category VI protected area.
O’Halloran Hill Recreation Park is a protected area located about 16 kilometres south of the Adelaide city centre in the suburbs of Seaview Downs and O’Halloran Hill. The recreation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 1989 for "recreation and nature conservation purposes" in respect to parcels of land acquired by the Government of South Australia starting in the 1970s for three purposes - creation of "an open space buffer", provision of "both visual amenity and recreational opportunities for the rapidly growing southern suburbs" and the creation of "a second ring of parklands around Adelaide that would cater for outdoor pursuits, as well as protecting the Hills Face Zone from development". The recreation park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area.
Paranki Lagoon Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the state's south-east in the gazetted locality of West Range about 14 kilometres north of the town of Kingston SE. The conservation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 on 16 October 2014 in respect to an area of land that:
… was a significant feeding ground for waterbirds and waders in the South East. Because it is fed by groundwater, the lake tends to fill earlier in winter and holds water longer in summer than most other lakes in the area. In the past, it has hosted up to 30,000 banded stilt, which are listed as vulnerable under the National Parks and Wildlife Act, and 40,000 waterfowl. Regular seasonal bird counts have also found it is an important feeding ground for a number of migratory species that use the East Asian-Australasian Flyway. These are birds like the sharp-tailed sandpiper, curlew sandpiper and red-necked stint, which are the subject of a number of international protection agreements.
