These are the election results of the 2018 Malaysian general election by parliamentary constituency. Results are expected to come after 5 pm, 9 May 2018. Elected members of parliament (MPs) will be representing their constituency from the first sitting of 14th Malaysian Parliament to its dissolution.
The parliamentary election deposit was set at RM10,000 per candidate. Similar to previous elections, the election deposit will be forfeited if the particular candidate had failed to secure at least 12.5% or one-eighth of the votes.

Elections in Malaysia include elections to public office of the political entities that since 1963 have composed the federation of Malaysia. At present, elections in Malaysia exist at two levels: federal level and state level. Federal level elections are those for membership in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of Parliament, while state level elections are for membership in the various State Legislative Assemblies. The heads of executive branch at both the federal and state levels, the Prime Minister and Menteri Besar/Chief Ministers respectively, are usually indirectly elected, filled by a member of the majority party/coalition in the respective legislatures.
Sim Tze Tzin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bayan Baru since May 2013. He served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Salahuddin Ayub from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He is a member of Parliamentary Special Select Committee for International Affairs. He is a member and Strategy Director of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH coalition. Tan Kok Wai is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cheras since April 1995. He served as the Special Envoy of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad to China from August 2018 to March 2020 as well as the MP for Sungai Besi from August 1986 to April 1995. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the 1st Advisor of DAP since March 2022 and 1st Chairman of PH of Kuala Lumpur since August 2017. He served as the 4th National Chairman of DAP from March 2014 to March 2022 and National Deputy Chairman. He is also presently the longest-serving MP by serving since 1986 for 38 years as of 2024 after Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah failed to be reelected as an MP in 2022.
Er Teck Hwa is a Malaysian politician. Er was the two-term Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bakri constituency in the State of Johor from 2008 to 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.
Dato' Sri Dr. Wee Jeck Seng is a Malaysian politician who is the Chairman-designate of the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tanjung Piai from March 2008 to May 2018 and again since November 2019. He served as the Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities I for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister Khairuddin Razali from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in the BN administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak as well as former Ministers Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Ahmad Shabery Cheek from March 2008 to his defeat in the 2010 MCA leadership election in June 2010 and Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pekan Nanas from March 2004 to March 2008 as well as Chairman of the Labuan Port Authority (LPA) from March 2017 to June 2018. He is a member and member of the Central Committee of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the BN coalition. He has also served as the Vice President of MCA since September 2023.
General elections were held in Malaysia on Wednesday, 9 May 2018. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of parliament. The 13th Parliament was dissolved by Prime Minister Najib Razak on 7 April 2018. It would have been automatically dissolved on 24 June 2018, five years after the first meeting of the first session of the 13th Parliament of Malaysia on 24 June 2013.
Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar @ Yusre bin Mohd Akin is a Malaysian politician who has served as Senior Political Secretary to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022. He served as the Deputy Minister of Primary Industries in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Teresa Kok Suh Sim from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hang Tuah Jaya from May 2018 to November 2022 and for Bukit Katil from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a member and was Information Chief, Spokesperson as well as Vice-President of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH coalition.
A by-election was held for the Dewan Rakyat parliamentary seat of Bukit Gelugor on 25 May 2014 following the nomination day on 12 May 2014. The seat fell vacant after the passing of the incumbent MP, Karpal Singh in a motor accident near Kampar, Perak on 17 April 2014. Karpal hailed from the Democratic Action Party, a component party of Pakatan Rakyat. A political and legal veteran, he served in the Parliament since 1978 and as the chairman of the DAP from 2004 until 2014. He won by a majority of 41,778 votes against Barisan Nasional candidate Teh Beng Yeam in the 2013 general election.
Sanisvara Nethaji Rayer s/o Rajaji Rayer(Tamil: ஆர். எஸ். என். ராயர்) is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jelutong since May 2018. He served as Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Seri Delima from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions.He currently serves as the Chairman of the Penang Hindu Endowments Board.
Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican is a Malaysian politician and banker who has served as 9th Chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) since May 2023 and Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bertam since August 2023. He served as the Minister of Housing and Local Government in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022, the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kepala Batas from the retirement of 5th and former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the MP from politics in May 2013 to his electoral defeat in November 2022. He is also a member and Division Chief of Kepala Batas of the Supreme Council of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition and one of the only two Penang BN and UMNO MLAs alongside MLA for Sungai Acheh Rashidi Zinol. He has also served as Chief of the Elections Department of UMNO since March 2023. He is an ethnic Malay of mixed Indian descent.
Alice Lau Kiong Yieng is a Malaysian politician and pharmacist who has served as the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat II under Speaker Johari Abdul since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lanang since May 2013.
