Baiyun District is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou,the capital of Guangdong Province,China. The district is located in the city's northern suburbs and is named after the Baiyun Mountain (the "White Cloud Mountain"),one of the area's natural attractions.
There are currently 18 subdistricts and 4 towns.
On 19 December 2013 four new subdistricts (Yuncheng,Helong,Baiyunhu,and Shimen) were established from carving out of existing subdistricts. [2]

Nowadays Baiyun District was originally governed by Panyu County (now Panyu District) and Nanhai County (now Nanhai District). However,since 1924,the district changed its name as new suburb of Guangzhou (Canton) city. in June 1954,Baiyun District was formally established.
For many years,Guangzhou's main airport,the (Former) Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was located within Baiyun District. In 2004,the airport was relocated farther north from the city center. Although the new airport has retained the name Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport,most of it is actually located in the neighboring Huadu District,just north of its border with the Baiyun District.

Bao'an District is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen,Guangdong province. It is one of the districts formerly lying outside the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
Tianhe District is one of the eleven districts of Guangzhou,the capital of Guangdong province. In Chinese,the name Tianhe literally means "a river in the sky/heavens",which is also a Chinese name for the Milky Way. It is bordered by Yuexiu District on the west,Baiyun District on the north and Huangpu District on the east. Haizhu District is on its south,though they are separated by the Pearl River.
Yuexiu District is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou,the capital of Guangdong Province,China,located west of the Tianhe District and east of the Liwan District. Chang'an District is one of eight districts of the prefecture-level city of Shijiazhuang,the capital of Hebei Province,North China,located in the northeast of the urban core of the city. The area is 110.24 km2 (42.56 sq mi). There are 426,500 residents,among which 109,700 residents are farmers. The leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in China,North China Pharmaceutical Group Corp (NCPC) located in Chang'an District,Shijiazhang.
Bijiang District,is the seat of the city of Tongren,Guizhou province,China. The area was known as the county-level city of Tongren until November 2011,when it was renamed Bijiang District,and Tongren Prefecture converted to the prefecture-level city of Tongren. The district has an area of 1,514 square kilometres (585 sq mi).
Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro is a 74.83-kilometer (46.50 mi) rapid transit line connects Haibang to Airport North. The entire line,including all track and stations,is located in tunnels. Its 67.33 km (41.84 mi) main branch,excluding the 7.5 km (4.66 mi) branch between Tianhe Coach Terminal and Tiyu Xilu,is now the third longest continuous subway tunnel in the world,and the longest rail tunnel of any kind.

Line 22 of the Guangzhou Metro is a partially open rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to 160 km/h (99 mph). It runs between Panyu Square and Chentougang,passing Guangzhou South Railway Station in Panyu District,and will eventually run in a north-south direction passing Xilang and Fangcun in Liwan District. Currently,there are train attendants on board each train. In the future,trains will operate fully driverless GoA4 mode when sufficient reliability from the signaling system has been confirmed.
Renhe is a town in Baiyun District,Guangzhou,Guangdong,China. The town spans an area of 74.1 square kilometres (28.6 sq mi),and has a population of 127,795 per the 2010 Chinese Census.
