Warangal is a city in the Indian state of Telangana. It serves as the district headquarters of both Warangal Urban District and Warangal Rural District. With a population of 830,281 per 2011 Census of India, and spreading over an 406 km2 (157 sq mi), Warangal served as the capital of the Kakatiya dynasty which was established in 1163. Godavarikhani is most populous city after Warangal and Karimnagar. Ramagundam is one of the most important divisions of Singareni collieries and due to its proximity sccl is planning to open its corporate headquarters. Nizamabad is a city in the Indian state of Telangana. Nizamabad is a major urban agglomeration and third largest city in the state. Peddapalli–Nizamabad line is a single-track broad-gauge railway line in the Indian state of Telangana. It connects Nizamabad and Peddapalli in South Central Railway zone.
