Siddipet Police Commissionerate is a city police force with primary responsibilities in law enforcement and investigation within Siddipet, Telangana. [2]

The Commissionerate was officially inaugurated along with the new 21 districts and with 4 other new commissionerates in the state on 11th october 2016. [3] on the eve of Dasara.

Siddipet Commissionerate consists of 3 Divisions i.e. Siddipet, Gajwel and Husnabad.

On 20 June 2021 the Chief Minister of the state K.Chandra shekar Rao had inaugurated the Newly constructed Commissionerate-cum-District Police Head quarters along with the newly built Integrated Collectorate complex. It was built in 19 acres of land with Rs.19 Crores. [4]

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, often referred to by his initials KCR, is an Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana since 2014. He is the founder and leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a regional party in Telangana, India. He is known for leading the Telangana movement to achieve statehood for Telangana. Previously, he served as the Union Minister of Labour and Employment from 2004 to 2006. He represents Gajwel constituency in the Legislative Assembly of Telangana. Rao took oath as the first Chief Minister of Telangana in 2014 and was re-elected for the second term in 2018.

Thaneeru Harish Rao is an Indian politician serving as the current Minister for Finance of Telangana since September 2019. He is MLA from Siddipet constituency from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party since 2004.

Telangana Police Indian state police force

The Telangana State Police Department is the law enforcement agency for the state of Telangana in India. It has jurisdiction concurrent with the 33 revenue districts of the state. The police force was created from the remnants of the Andhra Pradesh Police after Telangana state was formed. It is headed by the Director general of police, M. Mahender Reddy, and headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Kalvakuntla chandrasheker rao usually offer prayers before every nomination from his first elections since 1985. It became a tradition for him. Thaneeru Harish Rao also do the same. The temple was constructed in 1980s by the devotees. The present temple was a renovated one during 2020s with a cost of 3.5 crores. Usually in the february, 3 days fair will be conducted by devotees. On the very first day, Lord venkateshwara swamy kalyanam will be conducted, On second and third day, Annadanam(Food donation), Edla uregimpu will be conducted respectively.

Jangaon district District of Telangana in India

Bhagiratha is a project for safe drinking water for every village and city household in Telangana State, with a budget of ₹43,791 crores. The project is a brainchild of Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao, that aims to provide piped water to 2.32 crore people in 20 lakh households in urban and 60 lakhs in rural areas of Telangana. The ambitious project will supply clean drinking water to all households in the state through water sourced from River Godavari and River Krishna (32.43TMC). The bulk supply is expected to be completed by May 2018 and intra-village, intra-locality works will be completed by December 2018.

Commissioner of Police (India)

Commissioners of Police in India are IPS officers who head the police force in a commissionerate. A commissionerate can combine several adjoining districts under it. They hold higher executive powers than those available to a Superintendent of Police (SP) or Senior SP (SSP) as in-charge of the police force of a district. Commissioner of Police (CP) is a post that can be held by an IPS officer of the rank SP and above, depending upon the sanction provided by the respective state government.
